The night of the new moon...

How she despised that night, that very night she turned into a human. No longer would she be able to smell her scent as a demon would, no longer would she be able to hear like a demon, no longer would she be able to see like a demon, and... no longer would she have emotions like a demon.

Her heart cried out for love and warmth, but her soul, still having the pride of an Inu-youkai, denied it.

She vowed she would have revenge on the demon who turned her into a human. A human...A mere human, one who didn't have any strength, but weaknesses.

She was a proud and beautiful Inu-youkai. One who kept her promises and gave hope to others. She was gentle as the breeze that flowed by... yet as fierce as a sword in battle and stubborn as an ox, as well.

She was called Kagome.

And she had vowed revenge against Naraku...
