A/N: Hello and welcome back to Middle Earth! So, in case any of you were wondering, this is NOT a sequel to my story, "Durin's Daughter". It is a stand alone but has a similar theme.
I am currently working on several stories and I know that I haven't updated a few of them in a long time, but I wanted to move some of my stories from Quotev onto Fanfiction while I had the time. College is in less than a week, and I at least wanted to add as many new ideas onto my account before I became too busy to even start.

There walk among us
Those distant stars
Of beauty, majesty, power, strength, mercy, and kindness
Who, up close, are blinding to the eye
But are bright and beauteous far away
And there they wander, there they stay
Morning till night, shining ever bright
In times of darkness, there will be light
And in times of light, darkness.
So it goes.
In the brightest daylight, there are shadows
But the darkest nights have the brightest stars.
But suns go down, and stars go out.
One darkness holds, and silences the light
The darkness burns, scars, tears, blacker than night
It's where evil lurks, monsters hide, and the Dark One watches
He waits, bides his time
But
There is another, a lighter force, one who holds the key and power
To connect the worlds against one foe
One star will brave the darkness
And still shine ever bright
This one will join a quest so bold,
A wrong to be made right.
One will face death, evil, and all above
Truly finds what it means
To love.
