This is by far (at least from my view), the shortest and stupidest thing I've ever written, but jade-kwl-name-eva declared April Fool's Day to be lackson day, so I had to write something. I just got back from a 4 hour track and field meet WE WON! haha, so if I sound completely "out-of-it" while I'm writing this, I blame it on that and my lack of sleep.

April's Fools

Lilly's POV

I walked up to the Stewart house and nobody appeared to be inside, so I just let myself in, since I got a text from Miley saying she wanted to meet me at her house to plan an April Fool's joke for Oliver, since today is April 1st.

I walked inside their living room and it was pretty dark, considering that it's raining outside and no lights are on in here. I walked over to where I presumed the couch to be and sat down, letting out a shriek as I felt something rough and prickly underneath me.

I leaped up to see what I had sat on, but before I could, I felt something, or someone, grab my right shoulder and so I spun around and did the first thing I thought of- kicked them. Hard. In a pretty bad place, if you're a guy. The intruder let out his own shriek and collapsed on the floor. That's when light flooded into the room thanks to a flash of lightning, and I realized that the guy I kicked was anything but an intruder. In fact, you could call me the intruder since this is his house. You guessed it- Jackson. Rod. Stewart. Currently whimpering on the floor from my violent reaction to his touch.

"Jackson!" I exclaimed. "I am SO sorry! I thought you were some sort of criminal or something! I mean, it was dark, and I just sat on whatever that was and you scared me and I jumped and I reacted and I'm so so so sorry! Are you okay?"

"Not... Really..." He managed to gasp out.

"How can I help?" I offered.

"There's not really anything you can do, Lilly." He grunted.

I nodded and waited for him to stop, and after a little while, he was able to get up and sit himself down on the chair next to the couch. "April Fools." He muttered to me.

"Oh! This was all an April Fools joke! Wait, is Miley in on it too? Because she's the one who texted me to come over here..." I trailed off, hoping for answers.

"No, Miley's out with Oliver someplace, and she left her phone, so I took it and set this all up, but it seems to have backfired, huh?"

"Haha, yeah. Sorry, again."

"No problem. I shouldn't have tried to trick you in the first place. I had to know that the Lilly Truscott never loses."

"Now's as good of a time as any to learn." I winked and he smiled back, getting up to make himself a sandwich.

"Want?" He asked.

"Sure." I replied, and we shared a sandwich at the kitchen isle, laughing when Oliver came in the door dressed up as a girl, wearing lipstick written on his forehead, saying "April Fools."

AN: So, like I said. Dumb. Hope you guys enjoyed though. Leave me feedback. Happy Lackson day and April Fool's!! If you have a funny April Fool's story, I'd love to hear it! In 8th grade Spanish, my teacher planned this whole thing with a kid in my class and he was like a kid you could expect it from, so it was totally believable when they went on and on yelling at each other, and he eventually told her to "shut up" before being dragged into the hallway. Needless say, they came back in laughing and said "April Fools" after about five minutes. That's one of the best memories I've had of April Fool's day. I've always sucked at pulling off a good joke, but maybe next year I'll finally manage one. Or if not, hopefully when I'm a senior, my pranking skills will come into handy with our senior prank. Okay, long enough of an AN... I bet this is longer than the story. ;) I better get to my homework. sigh.
