Author's Note: It's snowing outside. It's the first time I've seen snow this season. And I was watching Getbackers when I noticed it. So I decided to write this.

Amano Ginji placed his face against the door of Honky Tonk, watching at the snow fells silently outside. Snow always entranced him. Because of the way that Mukenjo was set up, snowfall was rare and never lasted there. It worked for him then, because he didn't have winter clothes, so snow would have been a bad thing, but he still found snow the most exciting weather.

"Ginji! Don't fog up the window like that," Ban warned from his usual stool at the bar. Paul was behind it, reading the newspaper as he normally did. Natsumi had the day off so it was only the three of them. Ban had his normal cup of coffee and Ginji had the snow.

It was almost magical, the way it fell silently. Unlike rain. Ginji loved the rain, it allowed him to use his trump card when needed, but snow was new to him. It always was new to him.

"Ban-chan!" he whined, turned away from the glass in order to look at his partner.

The brunette got up, placing down his empty cup of coffee and made his way over to Ginji. "It's just snow, Ginji," Ban insisted.

"No, it's not just snow, Ban-chan. It's snow!"

Without warning, he flung the door open and stepped out into the flurries. Ban muttered a curse before following him. "Dammit, Ginji, what the hell is so fascinationg. It's cold out here."

Ginji didn't answer him as he looked up, a look of childish awe on his face as the snow fell down. His brown eyes widened with wonder and he twirled in the snow for a few minutes. Suddenly, he stopped and turned to his fellow Getbacker.

"Ne, Ban-chan, why don't you like snow?" Ginji asked.

Ban looked at him, lighting a cigarette as he stared at his partner. He reached over with the hand not holding the cigarette and ruffled Ginji's spiky hair, shaking the snow out of it. It was coming down rather hard, but Ginji didn't care. He didn't seem to mind the cold.

I don't not like snow, Ban thought. I just don't like the damned cold.

"Eh? That's a stupid question Ginji," the brunette told him.

"But Ban-chan! It's magical!"

"No it's not Ginji." Ban grinned. "Come inside, you'll catch a cold." He opened the door and went inside.

Ginji looked after him, then glanced wistfully at the snow falling all around. How could something like this not be magical? He saw Ban inside, shaking off the stray snowflakes from his hair and the blonde couldn't help but smile.

Snow wasn't the only magic. The Getbackers was magic. Ban-chan was magic.

Ginji glanced up at the snow, a triumphant grin on his boyish face. Standing there in the snow, knowing the Ban-chan would always be waiting for him, Ginji thought his life was pretty magical too.
