Any time Hinata Hyuga looked at him, Deidara would blush and look away.

But, not today.

Certainly, he'd feel shy, but he couldn't let it stop him, because today was different.

Deidara was going to confess to Hyuga what he'd been hiding for so long.

Eventually, he'd have to tell Hyuga anyway, and she'd rather that it was on his terms.

Feeling his knees quiver, the nearly twenty-year-old blond was nervously walking up the endless stairs leading to a certain tower.

Girls common room was not a place for the boys; he wasn't even allowed to walk through the door, but it didn't matter to him.

Hinata would have to exit eventually, and when she did, Deidara would be there to pull her aside.

It didn't even occur to him that the Hyuga blood and the his Blood could possibly be with him, it was not allowed to happen.

Just him and Hinata, that's how he'd pictured it, not because he didn't like the other two (which he certainly didn't), but because Deidara showed his feelings to no one… except Hyuga.

Kids, noticeably from boys drom, pushed past him, wondering vaguely why an absently looking girls drom was standing in front of their door, but Deidara didn't seem to notice them.

Love is such a strong word, isn't it?

Maybe she wouldn't be as surprised if I said 'like'.

No, 'I like you Hinata,' didn't have that same dazzling effect to it.

Obviously distracted by the chaos inside of his head, Deidara managed to walk straight into another person, who seemed just as far away in his own thoughts, and the blond landed on top of the boy, for a brief second staring at his face.

Pearl eyes with a shade of lavender were staring straight back at him.

Questions seemed to electrify the air as Hinata shot Deidara one of her wondering glances.

Realizing that he was still lying on top of the midnight-haired girl, he finally began feeling the blood rushing to his cheeks and tried to get up.

Smiling, Hyuga grabbed his arm to prevent him from moving.

Then she did something amazing that Deidara had (almost) never dreamt would happen; it was simply impossible to comprehend.
Using nothing but her lips, Hinata eliminated the distance between them, uniting them in a passionate kiss.

Various things to say, most of them being as stupid as 'Ow!' or 'Wauw!', crossed Deidara's mind, but he soon decided that it didn't matter.

Words weren't necessary right now.

X-rated thoughts flooded his brain, washing away the remains of the earlier chaos, but he tried to make them disappear, as he'd rather focus on kissing Hinata through the floor.

"You.. I.. That's.." Deidara stuttered (and Deidara's simply didn't stutter, not unless it was an extremely unexpected situation), gasping for air as their lips parted, deciding that he'd have to say something eventually.

"Zip it," Hinata replied, in a very little Hinata Hyugaish way, as she took control (also in a not so her way, Deidara thought excitedly) and grabbed the young Deidara's collar, pulling him close enough for their lips to melt together once again.
