Because it was seriously about time I posted SOMETHING!
Description: I Don't Love You songfic. Frerard, of course! :D
Well, when you go
Don't ever think I'll make you try to stay
"Fine, go," Gerard said. "But when you come crawling back to me, I'm not gonna take you back!" Frank scrambled out the door, suitcase in hand.
And maybe when you get back
I'll be off to find another way
Since then, Gerard had been trying to replace him. He tried blind dates, dating sites, mutual friends, but nothing. He missed Frank, but he wouldn't admit it.
And after all this time that you still owe
You're still a good-for-nothing I don't know
Gerard would always look through old pictures of Frank and him. He had broken a few frames, throwing them to the ground. He avoided cleaning up the glass.
So take your gloves and get out
Better get out while you can
Frank had tried to come back, multiple times. But Gerard meant what he said. He wasn't going to take Frank back, no matter what. He had gotten into fights when Frank would refuse to leave. It wasn't long, though, before Gerard really had began to consider taking him back.
When you go would you even turn to say
"I don't love you like I did yesterday"?
He told Frank that he stood now with open arms, but now it was Frank's time to turn away. He rejected Gerard.
Sometimes I cry so hard from pleading
So sick and tired of all the needless beating
Gerard had started getting really emotional about it. He cried and cried, but Frank would never listen. He became depressed.
But baby when they knock you down and out
It's where you oughta stay
Frank's fight was up, and he was ready to give in. But now Gerard accepted nobody. He barely ate, slept, he was a mess and he wouldn't let anybody help him.
Well after all the blood that you still owe
Another dollar's just another blow
He was at his emotional breaking point. He had to call Frank.
So fix your eyes and get up
Better get up while you can, whoa whoa
He impatiently waited as the phone rang. He jumped to it when Frank answered.
"Frank, baby," Gerard cried into the phone. "Please come back to me, pleaseā¦" he could barely speak through sobs.
When you go would you even turn to say
"I don't love you like I did yesterday"?
Frank was overjoyed, the long-awaited moment that Gerard would accept him had come! "Of course, I'll be right over!"
Well come on, come on!
When you go would you have the guts to say
"I don't love you like I loved you yesterday"?
Frank still had the key to the little cramped apartment he and Gerard used to share. He busted through the door. "Gerard!" he looked around. Gerard was on the couch. He was asleep. He must have been tired out. He had a long 3 weeks without anyone.
I don't love you like I loved you yesterday
I don't love you like I loved you yesterday
Frank cuddled with him on the couch. He kissed Gerard's forehead and whispered in his ear. "I don't love you like I loved you yesterday, Gee, I love you so much more."
A smile formed on Gerard's face, and Frank fell asleep right next to him.
