Growing Up

Much too early, some might say,

I've matured into an adult in my early days.

I've lost my father, and was taken to space.

Now my childhood is nothing but an unfamiliar face.

That fateful day was the day my dreams perished.

Though my dreams should've been something to cherish.

I grew up much too fast someone might say.

How that happened? Well,

That's a story for another day.
