Chapter 1
JACOB POV
Welcome to summer vacation day number 4 I thought to my self as I rose out of bed. Today I was going to meet Quill and Embary at the park. We where going to try to start a game of soccer, I told them id meet them at 3:00 but I didn't have anything better to do so I started biking early it was only 2:45 I still had 15 minuets so I sat on a bench and closed my eyes.
I heard some one sit next to me; I could smell a sweet perfume. I peeked out of my left eye and saw a girl sitting there, her eyes where closed like mine but she was pretty not the prep kind but genuinely beautiful. Her hair was a dark brown, her body was slender, and she wore a yellow tang top and some jean short shorts, her face was caring yet it had a commanding presence to it, letting people know that she wouldn't be pushed around. She started to peek at me so I slid my eye shut.
MYSTERY GIRL POV
As I looked at him out of my right eye I saw him shut his eye, he was checking me out! I giggled and asked a little sarcastically "Do you like what you see"? He sat up straighter and opened his eyes and replied, "Well it depends, are you talking about the pretty girl in front of me or the yellow mustang GT behind you?" "Considering that it just drove away I suppose you're sweating because of the sun," I teased. His short cropped hair was glistening in the sun.
JACOB POV
She had called me out I was sweating a little. I winked at her and said some things in this world are hotter than others. She laughed and said ill see you around and just walked away. I called after her "Hey what's your name!?!" She just laughed as she rounded the corner. I was about to run after her but Quill and Embary lobbed the soccer ball at the back of my head, shouting come on lets go!
That was the first time I had saw her, after that I couldn't sleep with out her haunting my dreams, I had to find out her name.
