A/N: Ok, this is a really terrible idea that popped into my head last night that shows how Wilbur's attention problem could have directly caused himself not to exist, rather than indirectly by leaving the garage door open. The movie would have ground to a halt this way, though, and it wouldn't be a G rated movie. Feel free to leave a bad review. I know I would.

"You're crazy!" the boy with spiky blond hair shouted at the one with pointy black hair.

"Ho-ho! I am not crazy!" Wilbur shouted indignantly.

"Oh yeah, Captain Timetravel? Prove it!" Lewis yelled back. Wilbur seemed defeated. "Yeah, that's what I thought." Lewis threw his backpack over his shoulder and walked over to the door, mumbling to himself.

Wilbur came over and slammed the door with his whole body.

"If I prove to you I'm from the future, will you go back to the science fair?" he said in a rush.

"Yeah, sure. Whatever you say." Lewis shrugged. Wilbur grinned and started to push him towards the wall.

"Hey, let go of me!" Lewis demanded, but Wilbur kept pushing. The edge of the wall was approaching fast. "What are you doing? Let go of me!" Lewis was really scared now.

"Okay," said the older boy calmly, and threw Lewis off the roof.

Lewis screamed as Wilbur tossed him over the side. The ground was rushing up to meet him, and his arms were flailing wildly.

He landed with a sick thud on the closed lid of a dumpster. Wilbur watched in horror as the young inventor slid onto the ground, glasses shattered and arms out at a strange angle.

Where did the time machine go? Wilbur thought frantically. It was then he realized that in his haste he had parked it on the other side of the building. He rushed over to the other side and jumped into the time machine. Groping for the invisibility switch, or the keypad, or anything that would save him and his yet-to–be father, he felt himself floating away.

"Crap." was the last he could mutter before he succumbed to the swirling erase of time.

A/N: Ok, I know it was really dark and stupid but I always thought, what if Wilbur misjudged where the time machine was? Thank you for reading.
