Leonard Henry Bones McCoy was eating an apple while shooting Spock. The reason he did this odd behavior was cause he didn't like Spock very much. Spock just took the shooting like the Vulcan he was. Chekov witnessed this chaos with wide eyes. Spock still just stood there, unharmed by the attack! Leonard kept at his shooting slowly becoming frustrated with the Vulcan's something that I don't know. So, Leonard stopped the shooting after a few more minutes. Spock turned and left, careful not to reveal the reluctant grin on his Vulcan face.
"Damn Vulcan!" Leonard ejaculated. That was the end of this little skirmish.
