Disclaimer: I don't even own me!

She grabbed a hand.

The hand was cold, strange and pale. She didn't realise why she was grabbing it. But she was. The hand guided her through a dark road and she followed it.

After a few minutes the hand stopped, and it was replaced by a sweet voice. The voice was familiar, relaxing and caring.

It was Marissa's voice. But not the usual, the sweet one.

If Summer paid attention, she would be able to recognise the hand. It was Marissa's too. But this one was cold.

The voice playing inside Summer's head said:

"You know you are my best friend too. Forever. Never forget that."

Summer felt scared. What was Marissa saying? It looked like she would never see her again.

But when the hand appeared once more, it guided her to a place where she could see a boy that looked like Ryan, kneeling beside a young woman, near an exploded car. Summer could hear the boy screaming for Marissa. Paying more attention, Summer recognised Marissa lying in Ryan's arms. Dead.

It looked cold and cruel, but that's what she looked like.

Dead.

The thoughts in Summer's head were spinning around.

Marissa couldn't be…. No, she couldn't.

In those moments, the voice returned:

"Do you understand now Sum? I'm gone. For good. You won't need to take care of me anymore. I know you'll suffer, but know that I'm fine. I'll miss you all, but I'm fine."

Summer tried to run away. She couldn't hear anymore. She wanted to wake up. This had to be a really really bad dream. But the voice continued:

"I just have one last wish: take care of Ryan… and Seth, from now on. No matter what. I loved them both in different ways. And I know you do too. Stick with Seth, he really cares. He just happens once. Don't throw him away just 'cause of me. Don't let the fact you're grieving end your love… Bye Sum…"

Tears streamed freely down Summer's face. She wanted to scream…

"MARISSAAAA!"

"Hey, calm down baby. It was just a bad dream…" Seth was stroking Summer's hair trying to calm her down.

"Seth!" Summer hugged him happily, relieved it had been just a dream.

"It was so real Seth. Marissa was dead and she was talking to me. She and Ryan had had a car accident and she died in it… It was so scary!"

Seth smiled and hugged her back. It was just a dream. Summer would be fine.

"Marissa must be in the plain right now and Ryan is already sleeping in his bed, probably. We just didn't saw him because we fell asleep after 'the box adventures'."

Summer smiled at Seth's explanation and snuggled against him. It felt nice to have Seth's comfort after a nightmare. She felt safer than ever.

After a while, they fell back asleep.

If just Seth and Summer knew…

After all, it hadn't been 'just' a nightmare.

I could stay awake just to hear you breathing

Watch you smile while you are sleeping

While you're far away and dreaming

I don't wanna close my eyes

I don't wanna fall asleep

'Cause I'd miss you baby

And I don't wanna miss a thing

Don't get angry at me! I'll be updating Ty soon… I just felt like writing this (a little crazy I know)…Tell me what you think. It will stay as a one-shot unless you really want me to continue it. I don't wanna miss a thing- Aerosmith

Love you all (I'll stop doing it if you don't review)

Take care
