Captain Jack Sparrow!

Right, so, I got this crazy idea last night. I was thinking of Halloween, then Pirates of the Caribbean, then Captain Jack Sparrow's obsession with correcting people with the captain thing... Next thing I knew, I was noting this and telling myself to write it the next day, now today. Anyways, just a short drabble. I do not own Pirates of the Caribbean. Enjoy!

It was the twenty-first century, and Captain Jack Sparrow stood on the ship dock. He had decided to go on a one month cruise, and he was all ready to go. There was just one problem.

Captain Jack Sparrow frowned thoughtfully - can he even do that? - as he stared at the empty place where his ship was supposed to be. He had the feeling that he was missing something, but he just couldn't figure it out.

The captain continued to stare at the same spot. What was he forgetting? After an hour, though, he had it. His ship! He was missing his ship! How could he go on a cruise without his ship?

Secretary's POV:

The secretary of Captain Jack Sparrow's office hummed to herself as she sorted through the large pile of papers. Once again, she found herself getting Sparrow's butt out of a court visit.

After a while, though, the phone rang and she put down everything to answer, "Hello, this is Jack Sparrow's offi-."

Unfortunately, she never got past there as a familiar voice roared from the other end, "Captain Jack Sparrow! Now bring me my ship!"

She stammered, "Yes, sir, so sorry, sir!" But it was too late. The captain had hung up.

Later, she approached her employer nervously as the ship was docking. Opening her mouth, she said, "Captain? Your ship is here." The secretary also prayed that she wouldn't be fired for her mistake.

In front of her, Captain Jack Sparrow nodded distractedly. "Yes, thank you. Now, I believe there was something that I wanted to tell you... Ah, yes. Go and do whatever young women do these days when they're fired. Goodbye."

With a hanging head, the ex-secretary headed off the dock. She should have known better than to make that mistake.

I hoped you enjoyed! By the way, did you know that under the characters list, the captain is under 'Jack S.', not 'Captain...' I pity the people he makes his revenge on... Please review!
