Chapter 1: Calligraphy

Kotobuki Tsumugi finished the last of her invitations.

Of course they had been handwritten in her finest calligraphy, and closed with a wax seal. Furthermore they were to be hand delivered by one of her staff. These were simply too important to leave in the hands of ordinary postmen, as is the fate of this event. Her partner had commented that she thought this was going over the top …again. But Mugi dismissed this with a wave and what had become a stock phrase in these occasions "One can not over do something done properly".

The date was for a fortnight that day, and she was already planning out the menu. Kotobuki-sama was used to hosting dinner parties these days, but this one would be different to those. For a start, most of the menu was composed of cake.
