This is a missing scene that I had to fill in the episode devil's eyes between when Barbara collapsed into Helena's arms and when they were all cleaning up.

Helena's P.O.V

Barbara steps away from Harley's prone form tears streaming down her face, then she stumbles I catch her shouting her name. I sit on the floor pulling the hair from her face she's conscious but barley.

Helena-"I've got ya, its ok Barbara. I've got ya."

Reese, Alfred and Dinah come up the stairs just as she fully passes out. I find myself rocking her like she used to rock me when I'd wake screaming from a nightmare. I see Reese walking toward us and I shake my head standing and pulling Barbara into my arms.

Helena-"lock her up, I'm gettin her to bed."

I take her into her room and unzip her jacket enough to take that dam neural thingy off her and lay her on the bed then I take her boots off and get a cool cloth from the bathroom. I sit by her side and put the face cloth across her forehead and realize she's awake and trying not to cry.

Helena-"you can cry Babs, its ok."

She smiles at me and sits up wrapping her arms around my waist and sobbing. The sound wrenches my heart this is my fault I let Harley get to me to us, and now Barbara is suffering.

Barbara-"n not your fault. I need to ah start cleaning up and-"

Helena-"No you rest ok, just for a while your exhausted."

A knock on the door draws my attention as Barbara lies back against the pillow; Dinah eases the door open and pops her head in.

Dinah-"Barbara?"

Barbara-"Come on in, I'm ok"

Dinah-"Reese cleared the cops out of here, cured and they took Hailey, your cure went through, I thought you'd want to know."

Barbara-"Come on in honey."

Barbara pats the bed and Dinah comes and sits beside her. That's Barbara always taking care of others, but she's a survivor I know she'll be alright. I stand up and go to help the guys.

Helena-"Rest, call if you need anything."

Barbara tries to sit up and falls back, I ease her back and put the cool cloth back on her forehead.

Helena-"No you rest. Dinah stay with her, I'll be back, ok, I'm stayin here tonight."

Barbara smiles sadly and lays down only the sheer exhaustion making her be still, I go out in the other room where I find only Alfred and Reese remain.

Alfred-"how is she mistress Helena?"

Helena-"Weak tired but physically I think she'll be ok, Alfred let's clean this in the morning."

He smiles that Alfred smile and goes to the small room he occasionally uses when he's worried about one of us. Reese sits on the couch and reaches out a hand witch I take and sit beside him.

Helena-"I need to be here tonight be close for Barbara."

Reese-"Mind if I take the couch?"

I smile and feel the tears threatening, I don't let them fall, I don't think I can anymore but I lay my head on his shoulder and lay there for a few minutes before going into barbara's room where Dinah has fallen asleep beside her on the bed. Barbara is running her fingers through Dinah's hair she looks up as I come in

Helena-"I'll put her to bed"

Barbara-"No, let her stay, Helena sit with me."

Dinah's on the edge of the bed and Barbara is in the middle I sit the edge with my back against the head board and Barbara lays her head on my lap. We sit there quiet for a while until I feel her crying, her back shakes only slightly and I feel the tears on my pant leg. I hold her close, as she's done for me. After a while she stills and her breathing deepens, I know she's asleep as I watch the sun start to rise through the bedroom window. Morning's coming and soon we'll start to deal with all that has happened. And Barbara will start healing.
