This is a entry from Juliet's secret diary, where she explains her feelings after meeting Romeo at her father's ball.

Dear Diary,

I feel extremely troubled, diary. You see, last night at my father's party, I met the most wonderful man. We were just dancing at first, But then I found myself kissing him. I don't know why, or how, but I liked it. I liked it a lot. I like him a lot.

It was wonderful!

It was horrible!

I am already engaged to Paris, but I believe I am in love with another. However, my nurse just informed me that my love is a Montague, mine sworn enemy. How dreadful! Woe is me!

Now you understand my troubles, diary. I do not know what to do. I am deeply conflicted. Should I keep with my arranged marriage, or defy my parents -- my entire family -- and pursue my new lover? Still, my heart is telling me that I must see my love again. Do not know how or when we will meet again, if he even feels the same, but I know that we will be together. I can feel it in the deepest depths of my bosom. Yes, we shall be together, I and my fair Romeo.

Yours Truly,

Juliet Capulet
