The sky was dark blue as though nothing existed, a flash of lightening brought the world to life. He stood there at the window looking over his creation. It had been eleven long years since she made her entrance and he had mad a simple dream into a hideous nightmare that even he could not contain. Another flash of lightening revealed his cruel smirk as he watched the shapes move around his precious creature. Never again will he taste defeat. Never again would he lose.

The door to his chamber broke him from his trance and a small quivering creature peeked in. It was no larger than a stuffed animal, with scaled hands and a furry torso it looked as though a reptile had mated with a mammal. Speaking just above a whisper so the king would hear a child like voice came from the thing.

"King, the younglin went into bad part……. Mish worries for younglin" Mish shrunk back behind the door as the King threw a crystal ball at him with a vicious howl. He had ordered that none were to enter the Labyrinth. He looked out at his prize, his beauty, his heart and growled.

"Leave them Mish. They did not follow orders for they're protection, so now they must suffer for they're mistake." He did not look up and Mish scurried away, knowing the king wanted to be left be.

The Goblin King left his place at the window and sat on the floor, resting his head against the wall. He did not wish that fate on anyone, but her. The girl that destroyed him, that ripped him to shreds, that tore his world apart. She had created him, made him love her just to rip him to shreds. He removed his gloves to reveal the mangled claws that had once been his hands. His body shook as he stared at them in horror, his once mismatched eyes now black as the darkest of coals cried crimson tears. He thrashed out and clawed at the stone walls and floor making all in the castle quiver in fear. He maybe broken, but it is Sarah who will fall apart.
