Enjoying some food in Twilight Town, Kairi decided to take a break after her excessive training with Aqua to relax. Her arms were exhausted, blocking icey strikes and light volleys. She's likely training me to face the horrors she encountered. Kairi pondered, letting her teas honey aroma linger to her noise. Sighing at the lovely scent, she was about to take a sip when something crashed into her. Fixing her hold on the chair, she looked around her right-hand itching for her keyblade. Never again. She told herself after Sora's… Shaking her head, she looked at the ground, her anger and slight fear vanishing in an instant. She saw a little blue creature, huddled in a ball by her foot.

"Who are you, little guy?" She pet it's head, making it purr for some strange reason. Hope no one lost their pet… Kairi was going to get up and look for pet's owner when it started mumbling.

"L-Lilo. Lilo." He muttered, his tone completely happy. And very clearly, as if it was hard for him to say those words. Kairi decided to put the creature in her lap, it slowly opening its wide eyes. "You… You friend Aqua?"

Kairi shook her head, trying to pet the creature again. Instead of purring, its eyes went downcast. "I'm sorry, but I'm not her or the girl you mentioned. My name is Kairi though, what's yours?"

"Stitch." He answered, eyes somber. "Me… Lonely." Kairi put Stitch in her arms and got up. "Were go?"

"We're going to find your friend," Kairi said firmly, making Stitch make inaudible sounds of joy. She held out her keybalde and Stitch's eyes went wide. "What's wrong? This is just my weapon."

"Key… Sora!" She nearly dropped the creature once he mentioned his name. "Sora! You friend Sora!" Stitch hopped out of her arms, making mock shooting sounds with his index fingers. He made evil laughter before rolling around in a ball, which would have confused Kairi if she wasn't reeling from Sora's name being dropped. Stitch seemingly noticed, retracting from his ball and giving her a worried look. "You… Sad."

"Yeah… I'm sad." She frowned, her hand holding her arm. "I'm looking for my friend too." Stitch walked up to her, and like a cat, started rubbing on her leg. She smiled at the sight, wondering if being around Stitch helped him cope with his own loss. "But your friend, is she okay?"

Stitch's eyes were locked on the ground, not even daring to look up at Kairi's. Then she knew; his world was gone when the heartless attacked years back. And it never returned. Sora mentioned to her that a little blue alien helped him out on an adventure. Even Ven and Aqua told her about exploring space itself at one point and encountering actual aliens. But Stitch looked far more like a cute little dog or cat to her, not some alien that could bite someone's face off. Kneeling down and meeting Stitch face level, he looked at her earnestly. "Ohana." He pointed to his heart, then pointed at Kairi's. "Family."

She nearly teared up at the gesture, giving the little guy a warm hug. "How about, we get something sweet, okay?" Stitch made sounds of joy, making Kairi smile herself.
