Just a cute little idea I kept in the back of my head for months, but was just too busy to put it into writing up until now.
:)
I don't own the boys, or anything Supernatural, Coke, Cheetos, Funyons, or Pop rocks related.
"So, I eat the candy, and then take a drink?"
Castiel asked Dean, looking up at him uncertainly.
"Yeah, trust me, it'll be fun."
Dean replied, barely hiding the chuckle that was caught in his throat.
Castiel, Dean, and Sam were sitting in a musty motel room somewhere on the outskirts of a busy city. Rain pounded against the mildew covered windows, and inside the room, several chipped mugs and bowls were set up all over the floor to catch the steady flow of water that dripped down from the stained ceiling. Sam was stretched out on the ugly, green, moth eaten sofa, watching his brother and the angel as they sat at a rickety table across from him. His huge sasquatch sized feet dangling over the opposite arm of the couch.
It wasn't unusual for the three of them to be seen in a setting such as this. They always seemed to be in the same damp, dirty motel room, there never seemed to be anything good on tv, it always seemed to be raining, and most importantly, they were always completely bored out of their minds. Which led them to their only form of entertainment on days like this; messing with Cas.
Before the rain started, Dean had decided to make a quick trip to the mini-mart a few blocks down to pick up some things they would need. He had returned back to the motel just as it started drizzling with a paper bag full of beer, funyons, cheetos, the newest edition of Busty Asian Beauties, a 6 pack of coke, and a packet of cherry pop rocks.
Sam smirked and sat up on the couch, not wanting to miss a minute of what he knew was about to happen. The confused angel was holding an open can of coke, and the packet of cherry pop rocks, looking at them both warily.
"You're sure this is how I'm supposed to do it, Dean?"
"Yeah, definitely. Cas, trust me. Would I ever tell you to do anything bad?"
Sam stuffed his knuckles in his mouth to stifle the laugh that was trying to force its way out. Dean glared at him out of the corner of his eye, willing his brother to control himself so as to not ruin the prank. He switched his gaze back to the angel.
"Go, do it now, before the coke loses it's fizz."
Cas gave Dean one last nervous look, before ripping open the pack of candy, dumping half of it in his mouth, and taking a swig of the soda.
The effect was instant.
Cas gasped as the candy started to explode in his mouth, his eyes wide as he flapped his hands in shock, looking like a large bird in a trench coat.
"Dean!"
Dean was clutching his sides opposite the stunned angel, laughing so hard he was having trouble catching his breath. Sam was doubled over on the couch, tears streaming down his face, he couldn't remember ever seeing anything more funny.
Cas opened his mouth and closed it a few times, looking like a fish making bubbles in the water. His bright blue eyes still full of shock and wonder. He swallowed the popping mixture of candy and soda in his mouth, and instantly pressed the palm of his hand to his throat, where he could still feel the sensation as the mixture went down.
He looked around the room at Sam and Dean, mouth open, eyes full of bewilderment, which only made the brothers laugh harder.
"Well, what do you think?"
Dean asked the angel once he could finally catch his breath.
Castiel's face suddenly broke out in a wide smile.
"That was amazing."
He replied, taking another mouthful of the candy.
