Theo's breath was hot in his ear. Erebor was freezing, but that wasn't the reason they were sleeping together. His elf refused to admit it, but, since Ruthiel, he couldn't sleep if he was alone. And that was fine with Murk. He also liked the reminder that his Theo was finally here after a year-and-a-half, and he was going to stay here.
The dishonored breath let out a meaningless murmur, and Murk smiled. He would never get tired of his love's voice.
"I love you, Murk," Theo said in his sleep, and the half-orc's grin grew a little broader.
"I love you too, Theo." He wrapped an arm around the elf's slimmer form and drifted off to sleep listening to the sound of Theo's breath. h
