The team found Wally's disbelief in magic to be childish of him. Especially after things like being Fate. So all the rest had gathered to talk about a course of action, without warning him. They also lied to Robin to get him there. They said they were discussing pranks.

So they had were all sitting around various places of M'gann's room as they discussed the "problem". After about 10 minutes of conversation, Robin was sick of this. They were trash-talking his best friend for something they didn't even know about.

Finally, he questioned," You're all trying to "fix" him, but do you even know the cause of his disbelief?" He did the finger gesture around the word fix.

His question had caused all discussion to stop as the rest contemplated the answer. After a while, Zatanna voiced what they all thought. " No. We don't have a clue."

Robin said," Well then let me break it down for you all. In a world where children hear the tales of villains like Klarion, magic is fact in a child's mind. The only thing that can break that is a loss of hope, often caused by something traumatic."

Artemis asked," So what? Baywatch didn't get his Christmas gift from Santa?"

Robin took a deep breath. He continued," There's something that none of you know about Wally. Roy doesn't even have the full story. Something you aren't going to let affect how you see him unless you want to see him cry." He took another breath. He forged on," Normally I am not one to disrespect his secret, but you need to know. Wally's father verbally abused him for years. His classmates are…let's go with physical."

He stopped to let that sink in. The faces of his teammates were a mixture of confusion and anger. Artemis gulped," It never got…sexual. Right?" As much as she hated him, nobody deserved that.

Robin looked away before saying," A couple times. He hides it all from his mom."

Kaldur asked," You use present tense. Is this still ongoing?" He had heard of this from his king. He began to fear for his friend.

Robin looked at his fingers as he pulled something out of his hoodie's pocket. None of the team could see what it was. He frowns as he nods.

M'gann asks," Even though he's Kid Flash?"

Robin explains," He doesn't want to risk blowing his cover. The way he got his dad to stop was due to Flash's wife threatening to take him to jail. Something used with logic, instead of magic. That's why he trusts science to solve everything."

Finally, he shows what was in his hand to them. It was a note, written with handwriting too crisp to be a child's, yet is. Robin states," He was temporarily mute when I first met him. It was due to a punch from a bully. That," he nods his head to the note held in Conner's hands," is what he gave to me."

The note read," This is the best day of my life! I'm meeting you. Uncle Ba- I mean, the Flash said you would be my friend. I haven't told him, but you would be my first ever. Please don't mind my injury. It's nothing compared to normal."

After it had been passed around, he took it back and put it in its rightful place. He stands up and says," Leave him alone about his beliefs. Or you'll have some very pissed people after you. Batman included."

With that, he takes his leave. All his teammates are blown away by the new revelation. Robin then goes and plays video games with Wally.
