"Mama, Mama!" Adrien shouted, bouncing on the window seat. "Chloé's here!"

Mrs. Agreste snickered and brushed Adrien's flying bangs from his eyes. "Well, why don't you go greet her, sweetie," she said, pushing on the boy's back. He didn't need another word. Adrien shot off like a bullet out the door, running down the stepping stones towards his one and only friend.

"Chloooooooé!" Adrien shouted, arms spread wide as his gummy grin spread over his face.

Said girl squealed and held open her arms, letting the boy crash into her in a bone-crushing bear hug. "How's it going, Adrikins?" Chloé giggled, tugging his hair.

"Same old, same old," Adrien said, taking the girl's hand as he guided her into the mansion. "How was the first day of school? What's it like?"

Chloé huffed and rolled her eyes. "It's so duuuuumb," she groaned. "There's this one girl that thinks she's always soooo smart and funny, and everyone flocks to her, but she's just a weirdo. Stupid Dupain-Cheng…"

"Cheng?" Adrien repeated, "Is she Chinese?"

Chloé shrugged and flopped onto his sofa, patting the other end with her shoe. "I dunno, I try to ignore her, obviously." Adrien nodded and rolled over the back of his sofa, nearly knocking Chloé in the face. "Adri!" she giggled, shoving his foot away from her face. "Your feet are somehow so smelly! What do you do?!"

Adrien giggled and scooted down, "What could you possibly mean?" he asked, shoving his sock clad toes in the girl's face, "Clearly you're not smelling correctly! Public school has messed up your nose!" he continued laughing, pressing on as Chloé pushed his foot away. "Take a biiiiiiig whiff!"

"Adrien!" Chloé fussed. "I will bite your foot!"

Adrien laughed, finally dropping his foot and pressing it into the girl's tummy. "You wouldn't bite me; you love me too much."

"Yeah, I guess so," Chloé drew out, smirking when the 12-year-old boy huffed. "If you apologize I'll consider being your friend." Adrien sat up, quickly leaning over to peck the girl's cheek as he mumbled a 'sorry' to the girl. "OK, I love you again!" Chloé giggled, throwing her arms around the boy's neck.

"I love you, too, Chlo," Adrien said with a smile, letting the hug linger just a bit longer than it should have.
