Kitchen
"Soo... you know how to cook all these difficult dishes all this time?" Touya said wryly, watching Hikaru moved about in the kitchen, cooking sweet and sour fish and checking on the grilled chicken in the microwave. One of Touya's arms was placed under his chin; Hikaru didn't allow him to do anything.
"Well, yeah. Despite what people say, I don't really spend the entire time I have at my parents home merely playing Go, eat and sleep, even when my obsession towards Go is impossible. And I'm sort of err... mom's little boy? I spend lots of time with her and somehow, I ended up learning cooking from her," he turned off the stove and carefully put the sweet and sour fish on a plate.
"And why do you find the need to eat ramen day and night on daily basis? Without me, you have long been hospitalized with malnutrition. Compared to these, my food is really nothing great at all (and yet you compliment my food so much each time you eat it)."
The small framed young man shrugged his shoulder and placed the plate of grilled chicken on the table.
"It is bothersome, I'm too lazy to do the groceries and it takes too much time too. I'd rather spend the time to play Go or bother you," he smiled cheekily.
"Besides, you'd just drag me to your home anyway (without even asking me first) to eat 'decent healthy meal'," Hikaru mimicked Touya's tone just to rile his boyfriend up. True to his nature, Touya glared at him.
"All this time you are just being plain lazy... I should have starved you for a few days to teach you some lesson. Maa, so what is so special today anyway?" he rose from his seat to pour the cold syrup into the two glasses and prepared the plate and cutleries.
Hikaru blinked a few times before his ever expressive green eyes glared at his partner. Touya, who was unaware that he had said something wrong, was caught off guard by the glare. He raised his eyebrow.
"You mean you don't know what is so special today?!" There was a sharp edge to Hikaru's tone. That meant bad, bad things.
"W-Well, it is not your birthday right? That is in September. Not even my birthday... Tanabata? No. Hum, Valentine? Oookay, no. Ah, Children's day? Oww!"
The older boy –by merely a few months, Touya admitted grudgingly- with bleached bangs kicked his partner's leg, not so strong but enough to make the taller boy by 9 centimeters wince in pain.
"What the hell, Hikaru?!"
"Don't what the hell me! You idiot!" He grabbed Touya by the collar with a sudden display of strength. Their faces were mere inches away.
"Today! Is the day we first met at your father's saloon!" Hikaru's cheek turned red and he averted his eyes away from Touya. Touya swallowed the lump in his throat.
"I... I just remember the season we met and you remember the exact date?"
"Well, I'm good at History you know?" He released Touya and leaned himself against the counter.
"Oh, really?" Touya put his hands on Hikaru's soft cheek and stared deep into his eyes.
"Yep."
"Then, you better remember how many times I have kissed you too." Their lips locked and they kissed with such vigour until Hikaru tugged Akira's collar, indicating his to release Hikaru. Both of them breathed heavily as Hikaru leaned his forehead against Akira's broad shoulder.
"Trying... to smother... me?" Hikaru asked breathlessly.
"Sorry," Touya said with guilt colouring his tone.
"...Akira?"
"Hmm?"
"67 times... you've kissed me 67 times..."
"...Idiot..."
