Based on the song "Comatose" by Skillet and my older sister's short-short story project.
Touko walked into her bedroom, her hands behind her neck. She's done the housework once more, and was ready to plop down on her canopy queen-sized bed. But a letter set strangely on her pillow stopped her from getting any closer.
Curious, she ripped the white envelope and moved closer to the window read the letter. Her eyes darted left and right as she read the letter from her boyfriend, N Harmonia, the wording tugging at her insides as she read.
She cautiously read about how he had to escape due to his father's betrayal, how he had lost everything in possession, but he didn't want to lose her.
Touko crossed her arms and stomped her foot. As she closed her eyes, tears streamed down her face in quiet sobs. The window opened swiftly as the wind surrounded the brunette and wiped her tears. She sniffled.
Opening her eyes, she stared down her third-story window. A fall from that high could be mortal. Then again, she wondered if she even had a reason to keep living.
