Wrote this for school… I decided to post it! Remember, reviews make me happy (not as happy as my boyfriend, but still)

Oh, and I don't own The Hunger Games… but some words are taken directly from the book.. school stuff, ya know….

"What did you do to that little girl? You kill her?" Thresh shouts as he towers over me.

I scramble backwards, shocked into speechlessness. "No! No, it wasn't me!" Panic threatens to overcome me.

"You said her name. I heard you. You kill her?" A fresh wave of red-hot rage sweeps over his face. "You cut her up like you were going to cut up this girl here?"

I glance over at Everdeen, she looks as shocked as I am, and blood painting red trails down her face.

"No! No, I-" I being. I see the loaf sized rock. The sight of the rock shoves me into full panic mode. "Cato! Cato!" I screech. I hear his call of my name, but he's too far away to be of any help.

Faster than I can process it, the rock is slammed into my skull. Agony. Raw pain blooms and spreads over my head, then travels to the rest of my body. I moan. There's no control. No words can describe the torture. The short, shallow breaths hurt.

Heavy thumps travel through the earth. Thump-thump. Thump-thump. Fresh waves of pain surface across my forehead. I can hear Cato; his voice is distant, as if from underwater. He begs me to stay, to not die. I'm dying. I can't come back. Cato's voice fades away. The red, filtered light goes black. My last sensation is all of my muscles relaxing. Goodbye Cato.
