I do not own Ouran High School Host Club. I had this idea randomly and I wrote a few chapters on it. Hope you like it.

Haruhi sighed as she locked the door to her apartment, and slid the key back into her pocket. She was happy to be out of her house, it allowed her to momentarily escape the amount of work she needed to accomplish. The house was a mess, since she had been neglecting her chores as of late. She had been too busy at the host club to accomplish such things like laundry and cleaning, and the fact that her father brought home his friends almost every night made it even more messy. Haruhi frowned as she remembered that the bathroom had looked even more horrendous than usual. Shivering in disgust, she made her way down the stairs. It was obvious one of her father's friends had gotten drunk and wanted to go to the bathroom, but just couldn't make /all/ of it go into the correct spot last night.

They were out of food, which was another problem that she needed to fix on this putting to the supermarket. Ranka was bringing guest home for dinner (again) and she needed to get that ready. She had to get the laundry out of the way, which was pretty crucial because she almost didn't have any clean clothes left and neither did Ranka. Times like these made her wonder if this is how Cinderella felt. But if she were to be Cinderella, who would be her prince?

"Oh Haruhi!" No. Speak of the Devil, and he shall appear. Please, anyone but him. She could not deal with his antics right now. She had so much to do and she just could not deal with him today. But as luck for her would have it, two hands grasped her shoulders before pulling her into a tight bear hug.

"Tamaki-senpai-!" Haruhi choked, struggling to get out of his grip. Her temper was shorter than usual today, seeing as she had little sleep and a lot of stress on her that morning. "You're choking me!" Tamaki let her go, but the Hitachiin twins quickly took his place. Apparently, the world had it out for her today. Haruhi, however, was not having any of this and continued walking. They could waste her time at school, but her free days were hers, not theirs.

"Ha-"

"Ru-"

"Hi!" The three of them joined in unison, making the brunettes eye twitch in annoyance. Their complaining had begun to anger her. Normally it would take a lot to anger Haruhi Fujioka, but today was not one of those days. It was days like today where she could even intimidate Kyouya with her fierce attitude.

"Go away." Haruhi grouched. She was usually not so rude, but they had really pushed it this time. She could hear Mitsukuni gasp at her manners,' but at this point, did it really matter? Tamaki backed off, going to bug Kyouya about Haruhi's word choices. Maybe if she ran fast enough, she could lose them all and then be able to go shopping? No, because Mori-senpai and Huni-senpai were there. If those two weren't there, she'd have a slight chance. "What do you guys even want? Can't I just go shopping?"

"We wanted to take you out! Tama-chan read that commoners like road trips and things like that, so we're gonna take you on a train ride around the mountain side!" Mitsukuni piped up. It was a nice thought, to go out and have a little fun on the mountain side. As thoughtful as the gift was, she actually did have to go clean that depraved bathroom. Haruhi gave them a small smile.

"I appreciate the offer, but I have a lot to do guys. I have shopping, and my house is a mess. I have cleaning, and I understand you may not grasp the idea that I do not have maids to do it for me, but that's my reality." Haruhi calmed down some due to their thoughtfulness, but that didn't change things one bit.

"Kyouya! Do something!" Tamaki hugged the Ootori boy and looked at him pleadingly. Today, Tamaki had been especially annoying. Either that, or Kyouya had a lower tolerance level. He'd do almost anything just to make the french teen shut up. "Kyouya! Please you gotta make Haruhi come with! Pretty please?!" He hated to admit it, but he was at his breaking point. Enough was enough.

"Haruhi, if you come with us on this excursion, I will reduce your debt by 2,000 yen." Haruhi was aghast by what just came out of her senpai's mouth. His offer was very unlike him, there had to be some catch. "If you don't, twice the original offers amount will be added. Your choice, really." There it is.

Seeing as she couldn't afford to have that added, she reluctantly agreed. "Fine." Haruhi muttered under her breath, glaring at the older boy. At her words, Tamaki's ears perked up, along with the twins. They broke out in grins that could rival the cheshire cat's anytime.

"What was that, Haruhi~? You'll add the 4,000?" Hikaru rested his arm on her shoulder. Kaoru, copying his twin, came in on the other side of her and rested his chin on her shoulder.

"But dear Haruhi, why would you do something so stupid as that~?" Kaoru whispered in her ear, causing Haruhi's face to go red. For some reason, it was only this twin that could make her blush like that. It puzzled her, but she brushed it off as him being a bit more affectionate that the other Hitachiin boy.

"You heard me, I said I'm coming." Haruhi huffed, and then muttered "Rich Jerks." under her breath. There was a whoop of excitement, before she was dragged off to the train station. Looking defeated, she stared at her feet. "What did I just agree to?"
