The sun warmed Emma's skin, bouncing off the sidewalk as she and her recently reunited family took a stroll through Storybrooke. Their home. It was nice to finally be able to do such things, not dashing around looking for the best soluation to yet another crisis. Just walking peacefully, enjoying each other's company and the glowing sun's rays.
Regina could hardly enjoy such moments though- not after what Emma had done. Guilt extinguished any form of happiness Emma had felt. But surely she had done the right thing? An innocent life, killed for helping her mother.
Emma continued to internally argue with herself, Mary Margaret occasionally looking around to watch her twisted expressions. Until finally Mary Margret whispered something to David, who then took the stroller from her and pressed on in front with Henry- leaving the two to talk.
"You want to tell me what's eating you up inside on such a lovely day like this?" Mary Margret softly asked.
Emma sighed "When I brought back Marian, I had no clue who she was other than the fact that she would die from protecting you if I didn't save her"
"Well of course you brought her back, who could blame you?"
"Regina, that's who. Turns out not only was Marian… Marian as in Robin and Marian, but I just destroyed another chance of Regina's happiness"
"Emma you can't.."
Mary Margret could not finish, as Killian appeared behind them softly touching Emma's arm to attract her attention.
The two shared a look of mystery and intensity as they stared deeply into each other's eyes, as if conveying a silent message to each other. Emma was caught off guard and blinked several times before quietly asking her mother if they could have a minute, slightly flushed.
Emma proceeded by turning the corner, out of sight, closely followed by Killian.
