Yay! Second fanfiction! -throws confetti-
Anyway, I don't own the characters and I apologize for any OOCness. Reviews are love, people. Thanks for reading!
Enjoy!
He couldn't believe that he was stuck at the manor. Again. Seriously, how often is it necessary to blow up Tim's apartment. Really Jason? Why his apartment? Why again?
Tim grimaced as he packed up the few belongings of his that hadn't been destroyed, including a few outfits, and of course, his Red Robin gear. He parked his bike in the cave and dragged himself towards the cave showers.
Gosh, it's been a long night, he thought.
With how often he was stuck at the manor no one would spare him a second glance. Alfred probably had a place set for him at the dinner table. It's not like he'd eat anything, but the sentiment was there, right?
He stripped out of his costume that seemed way heavier than normal and stepped into the shower. On a normal day, Tim would take a cold shower, because the cooler temperature always seemed more refreshing, but today he cranked it up to a scalding temperature, filling up the entire shower room with steam. He relaxed under the spray letting the water pour over him, wetting his hair and droplets rolling off his shoulders. He closed his eyes until...until he heard footsteps.
It's pretty well known that Tim isn't the most confident person in the world. He was rather insecure about many aspects of his appearance. It's also pretty well known that after his adventure around the world as Red Robin, Tim had developed some prudish tendencies. (Really though, how many women could throw themselves at him within a year?) So naturally, someone walking in on him, naked and in the shower was not an ideal situation.
Tim assumed it would be Damian or Dick coming back from patrol. That would have been okay in the large scheme of things, but not ideal at all.
Of course, with Tim's luck, it would be the exact person he didn't want to see.
"Tim!" Stephanie called out as soon as she saw him. Tim cringed. Oh this was not good. "What are you doing here? I haven't seen you in ages." she chirped excitedly, walking closer to him.
Please please please go away, Tim hoped desperately. He glanced behind him and thanked everything ever that she was still wearing a towel.
"Hey...Stephanie," Tim said hesitantly, tensing his shoulders impulsively. Stephanie reached forward and turned off Tim's shower and Tim felt himself go flushed. If anyone asked, it was obviously because of the hot water.
Steph wrapped her arms around him in a tight hug and Tim immedietely went completely rigid. When she pulled back he averted his eyes, focusing intently on the ceiling as if it were the most intensely interesting thing in the world. He rubbed the back of his neck nervously.
"Steph could you-um, maybe wait until we've both-uh, put on clothes before having a touchy-feely reunion?" he fumbled out, fiddling with his fingers anxiously.
"Afraid of a little skin, Timmy?" Steph asked, smirk clear in her voice.
"Uh, yes? I enjoy...fully clothed interaction." He swallowed hard. Steph rolled her eyes before walking to the shower right next to him and dropping her towel. Tim mentally cursed Jason for blowing up his apartment. He would get revenge. He would.
He wrapped a towel around his waist and walked out of the shower room. His face was bright red, but he swore it was the water temperature.
Well, that's a wrap. Thanks for reading,
