Fairy Tale for Young Children
Disclaimer: I own the plot the characters, everything except for septims and Winter's Veil.
A long time ago in a land not so far from here lived a rich and wise king. He was plagued by an evil creature. The king called a meeting to find a champion to slay this monster. At once a noble came up to offer his services. "I Edward of Shenron will offer my sword to slay this mighty beast, at a price. The king thought no price was too great for the safety of his villagers. It was agreed that the rich noble would be paid a sum of 500 septims. Edward would find his greed to be his downfall. Edward rode to the colossal cave where the monster dwelled. His mind focused on the reward and not on his quest he made his last mistake on the face of the earth. He had failed to read the journal entries of his predecessor who studied the creature over many months. If he had read the journal he would have known that the cave that he was riding into was in fact the monster. Thus he walked straight into the creature's mouth and was swallowed whole. At this moment a young peasant was baking a loaf of enchanted bread. The bread was enchanted to be harder than any material. He put the bread in his satchel and walked toward the cave he pulled it out enlarged it and pushed it into the creature's field of vision. "Come friend I am Jethro of Balmoria. Winter's veil is not far off and I have brought you this bread to fill your belly so you will not starve." The beast rose towering over the youth. "You are clever boy, to get a sorcerer to enchant that bread, how do I know it is not poison?" The young mage stepped forward. Tore a piece from the enormous loaf and ate it. "As you see there is no trick my friend." The beast underestimating the knowledge of the boy picked up the loaf and took a bite. The creature's magical tooth the source of all it's strength shattered and the monster crumbled to the ground.
The boy dug among the rocks until he found a piece of the magical tooth. The tooth's power was gone but its value was not. The stone was a diamond the size of an anvil. The boy brought it back to the king and was rewarded handsomely. The youth had many more adventures and lived a long and prosperous life.
Hope you liked it mostly fluff but oh well.
