It had been about four hours since Lockdown had called Prowl. Sylvia was lying on her berth, not sure what to do. Lockdown had offered Prowl to go with him, so why couldn't she go? She looked at the mods spread out on her floor next to her berth. Technically, they were still Lockdown's, and Sylvia was sure the bounty hunter would want them back.

She grabbed up the mods, put them in her side pack, and took off to find Lockdown's ship. Sylvia knew her way to him all too well. Finding the ship was the problem. Sylvia stepped into the "vacant" lot, knowing what to do. Or…at least she thought she knew.

Sylvia wound up bumping into it.

"Found it!" she grumbled.

"What in the name of Primus are you doing here?" Lockdown appeared.

Sylvia turned and saw the mismatched bounty hunter waiting for an answer. Something about Lockdown, surprisingly, always had the ability to make her relax. She was with her own kind. Sylvia was…safe, wanted (somewhat), and accepted.

"I came back to return your mods. I thought maybe you'd want them back" Sylvia removed her pack that had his mods.

Lockdown took them. "Thanks kid, but why are you really here? I thought you didn't like me".

"I just…I wanna go with you" Sylvia told him.

Lockdown appeared to be a little surprised. He opened the ship to let Sylvia and himself in.

"So, why me?" he asked.

Sylvia looked around and her light violet optics gazed over at the trophy case. She sighed before answering.

"You make me feel…safe, I guess".

"Why?".

"You told me you're a half blood too right?".

"I am, yeah".

"I guess that's when it all started".

"Only that?".

Well" Sylvia sat down in the chair across from him, "There's other things".

"Like?".

Sylvia didn't want to tell him, but something about the powerful bounty hunter provoked her honesty.

"I just wanna be around someone who understands".

"And?".

"You, this place, everything associated with the art of Bounty Hunting, I feel like I belong in it".

"So, I make you feel accepted. Is that it?".

Sylvia nodded. "Yeah".

"Kid, my world has no room for someone like you".

"You're lying" Sylvia gazed into Lockdown's scarlet optics for the first time since she came.

"What do you mean I'm lying?".

"You heard me. I think you're lying to me. I think you really do want me to stick around".

"I'm fine kid. It's you I'm worried about".

Lockdown, despite himself, was worried about his former partner's younger sister. It was nice to know that he wasn't the only half blood out there. Sylvia was sweet most of the time, but knew when to take charge.

"You're worried about me?" Sylvia asked.

Lockdown avoided the question.

"Kid, does your brother even know you're here?".

"No, and I think it'd probably be best if he didn't know".

"In that case, I can't let you come with me".

"What? Why not?!".

"Because your place is with your brother. Our worlds have no room for each other".

"That's not true!".

Sylvia got up and hugged Lockdown, much to his surprise.

"I don't wanna go back, Lockdown. Please don't make me go back! I'll never be accepted by them fully".

"I guess it'd be alright if you were to stay the night, but come morning, you're goin' straight home".

"Thank you Lockdown".

"Yeah, don't expect it all the time".

Sylvia allowed herself to be calmed by the sound of Lockdown's steady spark. When she finally feel into recharge, he set her down on his berth and decided not to sell her out.

"I ain't that sparkless".

A/N: Sylvia is purely my character and will feature in her own series. A series I hope will be successful.
