"Its you and the doctor…it always has been"…was what Mickey said true? WAS is her and the doctor? Rose doesn't even know that…she's had feelings for the doctor since he changed, but she had no way of telling whether her feelings were returned…but he hadn't said anything when Mickey said that though…
Rose entered the Tardis and closed the door gently behind her. Her eyes were glistening with tears…she had left Mickey for ever, she would never see him again. Letting out a sob she sank down on the floor near the door and cried into her arms.
The Doctor looked over at Rose…his face sad as he looked at her crying. A single tear ran down his face. Roughly he wiped it away and walked over to Rose.
"Rose…this was Mickey's choice, he will be happy there…" He said gently, sitting down next to her and putting a comforting arm around her.
Rose leant into his embrace naturally, wanting to be nearer to the man that sat next to her.
"Doctor, I will miss him so much, I've known him so long, but now his gone…" She said brokenly, looking desperately at the Doctor.
The Doctors heart wrung with pity as he saw Rose cry. He had loved her for ages now, not wanting to say anything, as he knew that one day they would have to split up, and if they got closer, then it would be even harder to end their relationship. He did not want that to happen to Rose…not Rose. But, nevertheless he couldn't help but like it when she leant into him and put her arms around his neck.
The Doctor, daring his luck, slowly leant his face towards Rose's. She didn't pull away, she just gasped softly as his face got closer and closer to hers. The Doctor just wanted to feel her lips on his, it had been so long since he had loved a woman, and wanted her.
Rose, unable to wait any longer, closed the gap between their lips. Soon they were kissing passionately as though they belonged together and that was the natural thing to do. Their bodies were groaning against each other as they held each other close and pressed their mouths against each other as much as possible. The only sounds to be heard were the soft moans emitting from Rose and the Doctor as they attempted to get their bodies as close as possible on the Tardis floor.
Suddenly Rose broke off: "I can't do this, Mickey has just left me…and I'm getting off with you!" she said, blushing slightly.
"Rose, is this what you want? For us to be together? Because we could you know, but you would have to leave me eventually. Is this what you want?"
"Do you want this? It's not a question about whether I want it, I know what I want and that's you. But do you…love me?" replied Rose.
The Doctor sighed and sat up: "Rose, do you realise how long I have loved you? Haven't you ever wondered why I always choose you before Mickey? Have you never wondered why I seem to care so much about you? Well now you know eh? I love you Rose and I wouldn't have it any other way than to be together in the precious time that we have left together" He finished, looking anxiously at the girl beside him.
Rose laughed, looking relieved. "I love you too! I have for ages, oh Doctor…" she whispered and reached down towards the Doctor's lips again. But the Doctor pulled away, smiling flirtatiously.
"If you love me Rose Tyler, then I would have you share my bed tonight!" he said, half serious, half not. Rose didn't say anything, just took his hand and looked at the Doctor. Wordlessly, he led her to a side room he used as a bedroom. A night he had dreamed of he looked forward to. The Doctor was happy, completely, for once in his long life.
