Hey guys, sorry I've been gone so long I've been super busy and some things have happened in real life. One thing I need to let you all know is even if a story isn't updated for months on end, I will NEVER abandon one of my stories unless something goes terribly wrong. (Like if I die! xD) I also have more freetime now so I'll have more time to update my stories and write new ones! Yay! :D
Anyways here's my newest story I'm starting on, "Something More", a Five Nights at Freddy's fanfic. This one will not necessarily follow the exact timeline of FNaF, nor will it follow the exact story, but this came to my mind the other day and I felt I had to write it.
DISCLAIMER - I don't own FNaF, I only own the plotline~

Well this job won't be too bad, I thought to myself as I called the number in the paper listings. I've been out of a job for over three months now. I really needed the money and, as a former SWAT member, there's not a lot of 'normal' work I qualify for. I sigh as I hold the receiver up to my ear, listening to the silence on the other end until I heard a click. "Hello?" a slightly nervous-sounding yet clear voice came from the other side. "Hi, my name is Alex Redding and I would like to apply for the nightshift job at Freddy's, can a meeting be arranged?" The surprise I heard from the other man's voice was clear "Oh, uh no! You're hired, first night you work is tonight, that alright?" I look at the clock. 9:47 P.M. Good, that's enough time to get ready for a simple job like watching some weird fluffy animals, right? I had a bad feeling about this but I shrugged it off, it was just my imagination. "Yeah, I'll be there." The guy on the phone gave me some quick directions, then hung up the phone. This is a pretty well paying job for a guy like me. Let's see how this goes.
Night 1
As the last of the crew hastily left the building I glanced at my watch. 11:56. Four minutes. I looked around my room I was given, seeing a tablet that I assumed was the camera tablet, a fan, posters scattered about, pretty typical. One thing drew my attention, however. Thick, heavy, metal doors on each side of the room, a switch for each on the corresponding sides, above a switch labeled 'light', again, on each side of the room. "Well that's odd..." I thought aloud as the tablet came on and the power outside went down. I took my seat, picking up the tablet to take a look around. First camera, good. Bear, Chicken, Bunny... well this seems normal. I continued surveying the area, noting 'Pirate's Cove' being 'Out of Order'...Why would it be out of order? I noticed a green bar down at the bottom left of my tablet. I read it aloud "Power ninety-six percent. Usage two." And by two I meant two little green bars next to it.
I switch the camera off noting how the power usage stays lit, showing only one green bar now. Normally this is where I'd kick back and relax...But something wasn't right. This whole thing was bothering me. Hiring with no background check. Strong metal doors and lights. The background check I did showing missing persons who had worked here before. Supposedly it has no connection to this place but I'm beginning to doubt based on some of the things I've seen. The phone next to me rang and I hit the "accept call" button, hearing a voice that sounded...Frightened? ...No, that wasn't it. "Hello? Hello hello? I wanted to record a message for you, to help you get settled in on your first night. Um. I actually worked in that office before you" Oh, some helpful advice. That's not suspicious for a nightguard watching some stuffed animals. "...I'm...finishing up my last week now, as a matter of fact...so...I know it can be a bit overwhelming, but I'm here to tell you tere's nothing to worry about. Uhh. You'll be fine! So, let's just focus on getting you through your first night. Okay, let's see, First there's an introductory greeting from the company..." I stopped listening except to the occasional word, noting the whole Missing Person reports, characters being 'quirky', missing a front lobe..Wait, what? I started paying more attention, listening to the details. Well, apparently if they find me, I'm screwed. Wonderful. "Close the doors if absolutely necessary! Gotta conserve power! Okay goodnight."
This just got a whole lot worse than it should've been. I flip the camera back on and realize the rabbit's gone from the stage. Here goes the 'free roam' mode. I flip through the cameras closest to the show stage. Ah, there you are. The backstage camera. The screen fritzed out and it was gone. Damn, these things move fast. I flip to the next camera and get a fright as I see the rabbit staring right at the camera, eyes pitch black apart from a small white lighted dot in each eye. I do a double take, blink, and it's back to normal. I don't know what the hell that was but either I'm hallucinating or there's something more than just free roaming going on here. I flip back to the main stage to see the other two still there. Well if they're this slow then this job should be a piece of cake.
Night 2
I turned on my lights and looked outside my door as Bonnie, as I now learned she was called, was staring me down, looking a bit frightening. I hit the door button and it slammed down, panic rising within me as I flipped the cameras on to see Chica was already gone from the main stage "Where the hell are you, Chica?" I wondered aloud as I heard something from the kitchen. Great. The one camera that's broken. Well at least she's far enough away for now. I turn the light on and see no shadow from Bonnie, signaling she's not there anymore. I flip back to the cameras too see that infernal fox staring at me from inside her curtains, then flip to the hallway right outside my door. "Shit!" I curse aloud and slam the right door, wondering why the hell they gave me a power limit as I see Chica's silhouette framing my right window. "Go away..." I silently mutter to myself. This won't do. I'm an ex-SWAT officer. These animatronics need to learn who's in charge here.
I finish the last hour of the night, with Foxy making an appearance outside of her stage this time. As the sun begins to rise, I pick up my gun I had brought with me that night just in case and stowed it in my pocket, heading out the door. First things first, I need something to eat and a nap, then I can start working on a plan. Heading home I stopped by a local pizzeria. Great choice Alex, I thought to myself. At home I ate my pizza and laid down to take a nap when I remembered something from earlier...When Bonnie was at my door I saw something I didn't realize until now. She looked upset. Upset? How could a robot look upset? Okay, I really needed some sleep.
Well, being a former military office has its perks I thought as I rifled through my stash of weapons. Machetes, two .45 caliber handguns, an electrified baton and a stun gun. Let's show these little furry creatures who's boss tonight. Now for some research. "Let's see what kind of secrets you have to hide, Freddy." I said to no one in particular as I booted up my computer and pulled up my browser. As I pulled up the window I didn't see the normal "Moogle" search engine logo, instead seeing total darkness and the words 'It's Me'. I was about to close the browser, thinking maybe it was some kind of virus, when it went back to normal. I blinked. Oh, I'm hallucinating again. That's just great. I quickly set to work finding all publicly available records of anything relating to Fazbear's Pizzeria.
Night 3
11:54. The day crew is leaving. Six minutes. If my calculations are correct, Foxy will be making a move tonight. I set myself up, machetes strapped to my waist, stun gun behind the two on the right. Guns held onto my thighs with standard military holsters. Lastly my electrified baton sitting on the desk next to the camera tablet. I glance at the tablet as it powers on. Showtime. I sit down on my seat, feeling confident in tonight. Bonnie moves first, as predicted, moving backstage as I flip the camera back to the main stage. Chica's gone. I here Foxy's music as I flip through all my cameras. Bonnie's moving fast, Chica right behind her and...Foxy's already gone!? I slam down the door on my left just as I hear a terrible screech and banging. Damn that was fast. I take this chance to glance at my cameras again, seeing everyone else moving as usual, if a bit faster.
Foxy gives up on getting to me and next I see she's back in her cove. Well at least she doesn't roam around like the others. I pull the door up on my left only to slam it back down as Bonnie stares at me, looking as if she wants to say something? Again, hallucinating. I sigh and look back at the cameras skimming over them all and I notice Chica in one of the Party rooms and she's holding something. As the camera pans to the side so I can get a better view of her she turns around and screeches into the camera lens, forcing me to flip the camera to keep my sanity. Bonnie is finally gone allowing me to open the door. The rest of the night continues on in the same fashion, with one jump from Chica which was fended off with a swift electrified hit to the head, sending her back and allowing me to close the door on her. I was starting to get the hang of this. 5:54. The power goes out. I pull myself from my seat and turn towards the door Freddy tended to favor, pulling out my stun gun and baton.
I heard the familiar tune play and I saw white glowing eyes. No way out of this one. This song doesn't last 6 minutes. The tune stops and I prepare to defend myself when Freddy just laughs and walks off. "What the hell..." I'm still on guard, waiting for the punchline. Nothing. Two more minutes pass and the bell goes off, signaling the end of my shift. And I thought this place was weird as it was. I pack up my supplies and leave as the day crew gets back in, many of them seeming surprised when I gave them a friendly "Hello." Two more nights. Just two more nights and I'm free from this nightmare. I head home, not feeling particularly hungry nor tired today. As I get home I hear static from my living room. Did I leave the TV on? No, I haven't turned it on for awhile. I pull up my gun to defend myself in case of someone in my house and head into the living room cautiously.
There's no signs of anyone being in here. I look around and see nothing. Oh God I need to stop being so paranoid. I pick up the television remote to turn it off and look up seeing the words "I'm still here" in big, bright white, bold letters plastered across my screen. I look at it for a moment then my TV turns itself off. Something is definitely going on here. I set down the remote, shaking my head and going to my office. I turn on the computer as I get undressed and put on some more comfortable clothes, specifically a t-shirt and a pair of shorts. Pulling up my chair to the desk my computer is sitting on, I sit down and enter in the password. The computer sits a bit longer than usual at the loading screen before the screen goes black. Oh not this again. Big white letters across the screen again, this time reading 'Save Them'. Save...who? Oh God please tell me I'm not supposed to be saving those murderous animatronics? I'm beginning to doubt that these are just hallucinations. 'It's Me', 'I'm Still Here', 'Save Them'... Were the three connected or were they different somehow? Would I be seeing more of these? What does this have to do with the animatronics? Why me? A hundred questions rolled through my head as I powered off the computer and wandered out of the office to my bedroom.
All of a sudden I was feeling much more exhausted. There's something I don't understand going on in that building. I grin to myself, this might turn out to be some fun.
D: What's going on? Is there something more or is Alex just paranoid? If anyone can figure out where I'm going with 'It's Me', 'I'm Still Here', 'Save Them' on the monitors, PM me and if you're right I'll give you a special privilege in the story later ;)
