AN: Yup, don't own anything Disney related, or PJO or HoO.

Ending up at Disneyland on Valentine's Day chaperoning her Step-Brothers had not been a part of Annabeth's plans.

Of course, she hadn't really had any plans for that day anyways, aside from a hot date with Netflix and Pizza.

However, as nothing in life can ever truly go her way, her dad and Helen had decided to let the Boys go to Disneyland for the weekend while they spent it together for Valentines, and since the boys needed adult supervision…

Enter their 18 year old step sister who conveniently enough had nothing planned in her parents' eyes.

"C'mon Annabeth! We wanna go on all the rides and we won't get to them all if you keep walking so slow!" Mathew whined, grabbing her hand and trying to drag her forwards at a quicker pace.

Letting out a huff, Annabeth relented and let herself be tugged along. It wasn't her fault that her foot was cramping, she couldn't really help it. Hopefully whatever ride the boys wanted to go on next was close, so she could stop moving and ease the pain.

Apparently, someone had taken notice of her situation and taken pity, as she felt the tugging on her arm relent.

"My my, look at these two strong lads. What seems to be the rush boys? You're dragging this poor lady all over the place." She recognized the accent as French… or at least trying to be French. As she caught her breath and looked up she saw the black leather pants, followed by a red shirt, and rolled her eyes almost involuntarily.

Of course the person providing her a rest for her feet is the biggest womanizing jerk of all Disney movies.

Her brothers, being ever avid Disney fans (She'd made sure they were nothing less; Disney movies were part of her childhood and she wanted the same sense of wonder for them) recognized the character.

"Whoa, you're Gaston" Bobby announced, looking up at the man.

Annabeth finally looked up to meet the eyes of this Gaston, meeting a pair of dark brown eyes that she decided almost instantly were contacts. She couldn't really decide much about him, but he was tall, as a Gaston should be, she'd guess. He looked over to her from her brothers with a hint of concern, which made her think maybe she'd been limping or something. Her distress must've been pretty noticeable.

She mouthed a silent thank you to him and he nodded in return before flashing a bright smile at her brothers.

"Why of course I am, and who might you be, young man?" he asked loudly, gathering some attention from passerby's. Some stopped to watch, as sometimes interactions with Disney Characters here could be really cool.

"I'm Bobby, this is my brother Matthew!" he grinned proudly, as did Matthew, "We're twins!"

"I see, quite a pair you two make!" he ruffled their hair playfully, eliciting a few giggles from her brothers. "And who might the lady with you be?"

"Oh" Matthew glanced up at Annabeth, "That's Annabeth, she's our sister." Gaston gave a little 'ah' of understanding at that.

He reached behind his back and produced a rose, seemingly from out of nowhere, and handed it to Annabeth with a flourish, "A rose for the lady." He said, smiling genuinely at her, "Please don't swoon, I know it is amazing to become the Valentine of as wonderful a man as Gaston." He gave her a playful wink, to which Annabeth just rolled her eyes, accepting the Rose with a small smile.

"Yes, I've heard so many things about you from my friend Belle" she retorted, playing along with the act.

A few onlookers laughed, and Annabeth's brothers turned on her with wide eyes. "You know Belle?" they exclaimed, staring at her in awe. She grinned at them, "Of course I do, we hang out sometimes and read together, She's a big book fan like me."

While the boys scrunched their noses at the mention of books, Gaston smiled brightly, "Ah, Belle, such a wonderful woman." He mused, before leaning in to stage whisper to her brothers, "Bit of an odd one though, I mean, reading?"

The crowd, as well as Annabeth's brothers, chuckled. Annabeth just rolled her eyes, but Gaston was looking back to her now, "I suppose you must be the same, yes Miss Annabeth?"

She smirked, "Well, the odd ones are always more interesting." She patted her brothers' heads, "It's why I keep these two around." Gaston laughed at that, and unlike some of the boisterous laughs he'd given in character, this one sounded a little more real.

"Well" Gaston decided, "I suppose I'll keep you no longer, after all, these two young men must have a thirst for adventure to Rival my own." He gestured to Annabeth's brothers, who nodded wildly. He gave them both a goofy handshake and sent a smile her way before turning and heading off to some other part of the Park. She didn't think of the Rose again until he was already gone, wondering if that might've been a job thing he was supposed to do. It was a real rose too, which made the gesture a little sweeter than it originally seemed.

-LineBreak-

A few hours later, Annabeth was finally walking through the parking lots towards her car, little brothers in tow behind her. She hadn't had to deal with any more cramps during the day, her brothers deciding to have some mercy on her after their meeting with Gaston. It was funny how she owed that Mercy to a Disney Villain, as opposed to one of the protagonists.

There were surprisingly few people in the parking lot, factoring in how busy the park had seemed, but Annabeth supposed that it was one of those odd hours that not many people chose to leave or arrive at Disneyland, and left it at that. It wasn't like the lack of people was a problem for her. One of the people nearest to her and her brothers seemed vaguely familiar though she could only see him from the back.

Apparently her brothers recognized him, as she felt Bobby grabbing her arm and pulling towards the stranger.

"Annabeth! It's Gaston!" Mathew was shouting, gaining the attention of the stranger.

He turned and his eyes found hers and Annabeth's breath caught. She'd been right about those brown eyes being contacts, because apparently Gaston had a pair of bright and joyous green eyes. His gaze flitted from her to her brothers and he seemed to recognize them, grinning amusedly.

"Well look who decided to show up again." He teased, smirking at her brothers. He'd dropped the horrible accent and was now speaking as Annabeth assumed he normally spoke, it sounded like he had the slightest New Yorker accent hiding behind years of living elsewhere, and she found it a little bit endearing, for some reason.

"Bobby and Mathew, if I remember right?" he asked, pointing between the twins while standing tall. They nodded excitedly, but Annabeth had made sure her brothers were an observant pair of kids.

"You look different than before Gaston." Mathew stated, a small frown crossing his features. Annabeth froze, giving a panicked look to the stranger hoping he wouldn't ruin a childhood thing like this for her brothers. He seemed to have it all in order though. "When I go outside of the park I disguise myself and take on a second identity. There's a lot of hassle out there for a popular man like me, so it's a nice way to avoid all the attention. I'm sure two strong boys like yourselves know all about the woes of popularity, huh?" he grinned, giving them both light pats on the shoulder.

The twins seemed to accept the reasoning and then the stranger turned his attention to Annabeth. "So if I remember right, you would be my dear Belle's friend, Annabeth, right?" he grinned at her, and Annabeth was halted momentarily because of his lopsided grin and how genuine it seemed right now, as opposed to most of the smiles he'd put on in the park.

"Uh, yea, that's me." She said, pushing her hair back behind her ear. Annabeth noted that her brothers weren't paying attention to their conversation at the moment. "So, was that rose you gave me some company promotion for Valentine's Day?" she asked, trying to seem nonchalant.

His grin turned into something a little gentler as he replied, "No, my mom planted roses in her Garden, I took one and promised myself I'd give it to the prettiest girl I saw today."

Annabeth felt the blush spread over her cheeks along with a warm feeling in her chest, she looked down for a moment, trying to formulate a response. "I'm curious as to what name would be used by Gaston when he's out in the real world." She looked up at him and managed to match the small smile on his face, "Any chance you'd know?"

"Percy Jackson. Also known as the guy who originally auditioned to be Prince Eric, not Gaston."

Annabeth laughed, "What made them ask you to do that?" she questioned.

Percy shrugged before flexing his arms, "I guess I was too strong to be anything but Gaston." His boast made Annabeth snort lightly, "Maybe it was your ego." She retorted, looking at his arm for a second to appreciate the muscle in spite of his showing off. Not as much on an attraction level as an appreciation of fitness on Annabeth's part.

He chuckled, "I'm totally serious though, they actually make you do a fitness test to see if you're strong enough to be Gaston, it's crazy what requirements they have for casting."

Raising an eyebrow, Annabeth folded her arms in a questioning pose, "I don't see how you passed those tests"

Percy reared back in mock shock, "I'm insulted Annabeth, now I must prove my strength to you."

She gave a wave of her arms to say for him to get on with it.

"Bobby, Mathew!" he called, getting her brothers attention, they sauntered back over to the pair with curious eyes. "Your sister has challenged my strength, and I must prove my fortitude to her now to defend my honour" he stated with faux bravado. "Mind if I use you two strong boys as weights?" he asked, grinning, they nodded eagerly and Percy raised his arms, motioning for them to each grab on.

"Now, use all your strength to try and keep me from lifting you guys up, huh?" the boys nodded in sync and began pushing down on his arms in earnest, Percy let out a laugh and then his face took on a more concentrated look. His arms were flexed and he lifted the boys off the ground after a few seconds, smirking triumphantly at Annabeth.

She shrugged, taunting, "My brothers are pretty light though, and they can't put up as much resistance of someone closer to your own age." She grinned smugly at his expression as he set her brothers back down.

"Boys, how old is your sister?" Percy asked as they released his arms.

The twins looked between one another in confusion, "Uh, eighteen, why?"

He turned his attention to Annabeth and grinned wickedly. Annabeth took a step back, "Whoa, why are you – "realization dawned on her "No. no no no, no abso – PERCY!" She shrieked as Percy lunged forwards and picked Annabeth off her feet, draping her over his shoulder at the waist.

"This is not what I meant put me down!" Percy ignored her cries and looked over at her giggling brothers, "You know where you guys parked?" he asked, earning two eager nods. "Lead the way boys"

"Percy put me down this is undignified." Annabeth whined, gripping the back of his shirt to stay upright. Percy just smirked, unnoticed by Annabeth in her current predicament. "Now Annabeth, have I proven my strength now?"

She punched his back, "Yes, you've shown yourself to be quite proficient at kidnapping girls, now put me down!" He cackled, bouncing her lightly and scooting her face closer to the ground, Annabeth let out a girlish yelp and turned even redder than she already had been.

"It'd be impolite for me to make you walk to your car at this point, I'm being a gentleman and giving you a lift."

"This is so far from a gentleman's idea of a lift."

"I mean, I'm not looking for gratitude, but a simple thank you would go a long way."

"If you don't put me down soon my foot is gonna go a long way up your – "

"Children are here, honestly Annabeth. Let's be civil." She punched his back again in frustration.

Percy pat her leg where he was holding it, "Look on the bright side, you're still the most beautiful girl I've seen today."

Despite her anger, Annabeth blushed, "You're just saying that cause of where my butt is, perv"

"I like to think chivalry isn't dead, thanks, so I have in fact not even peeked once."

Annabeth rolled her eyes, "Is that supposed to redeem you?"

Percy ignored her question, slowing his pace. "This one?" Annabeth heard him ask her brothers, who replied with a 'yep' in unison.

Annabeth felt herself being lifted back up at the waist and then set down, orienting herself and realizing he'd set her down on the roof of her car, where she was almost face to face with him, only being a bit higher.

"So your knight in shining armour has brought you to your chariot." He grinned, his hands were pressed gently on her lower thigh, and she found she didn't mind that.

Annabeth used her keychain to unlock the car doors, "Boys, hop in the back." For once, luck was on her side as the two monsters obeyed without question. As soon as they were in the car, her intent gaze turned on Percy.

He had the decency to look a little sheepish, "Sorry about all that, I mean, it was partly for show for your brothers but, I can't say I didn't enjoy it."

Annabeth glared at him for a few seconds more and he was about the try and apologize again, but she reached and grabbed his shirt collar, yanking him forwards and pressing a hard kiss to his lips. It was over quickly and she pushed him back, a smile twitching at the corners of her mouth.

"You gave me a rose on Valentine's Day, I'm going to take it as a request to be your valentine." She claimed, leaving Percy to gawk, a smile building slowly on his face.

"Is it a request you'll accept?" he tested, watching the smile build on her face.

Abruptly, Annabeth pulled her legs in and then kicked outwards, pushing Percy away from the car and to the ground. She hopped off the roof of the car, leaned down and pressed an arm against his chest. He looked up in confusion and she kissed him again, this time a little softer, "I'll be happy to be your valentine today, Percy." She left him on the ground, got in her car, but didn't drive off, as he got to his feet, she rolled down the window and handed something to him. "That's for tomorrow, when I can't be your Valentine anymore."

With that, Annabeth drove off, leaving Percy standing in the parking lot alone, grinning down at the phone number that was hastily written on a scrap of paper.
