A/N: I was just working on something else, then I got this idea in my head and typed it down. Can't blame me. I write whatever when I feel like it. Some things I work on forever, but others I just randomly type out and it's done.
Now go ahead and read! Leave me a review if you don't get who is speaking to who at any of these...conversations thingys.
"Luke, I'm scared. When is 'The One' going to come?"
"Stop worrying, and it's not your place to do so."
"All my life I've been waiting for one special person to enter camp...what if it's not even in my lifetime? Chiron said they've been waiting far longer than me."
"If The One ever comes, it won't be a day to celebrate."
"Chiron! Chiron!"
"What is the matter, Grover?"
"I've found another one!"
"We must be careful, for this is your last chance. You know most of the rules, and let's hope the fates won't make it like last time."
"No, wait - you don't understand!"
"Yes?"
"It had a...spectacular scent. It might be The One."
"Grover, are you sure your nose didn't just clog up from the enchiladas in the cafeteria?"
"Cheater! Just because Chiron is away doesn't mean you can cheat and get away with it!"
"Like you haven't cheated before? Besides Mr. D is still here!"
"Grrr, don't you get tired sitting around, waiting for something to happen?"
"Clarisse, really?"
"Travis! Don't even think about that same nasty prank again!"
"Our consoler Luke doesn't do much! It's up to the two of us to maintain the Hermes spirit!"
"I hope when the titan lord comes he smashes you to tomato sauce."
"I wouldn't say that so lightly."
"And why is that?"
"Since there's a rumor it might come true?"
"Ha-ha, very funny."
"Hey, enjoying the rehab center here?"
"Apollo, what brings you to -"
"Chill. Nothing's too bad about this camp. I tell ya."
"It's boring and I don't need those bratty little heroes anywhere in my life!"
"Athena, your daughter Annabeth will have a companion very soon, I believe."
"It is not for the goddess of love and beauty to have a place to peek into the future."
"Ah, no. But I can sense it."
"Go do your silly love plays on somebody else. My daughter won't need me to control her relationships."
"Charlie, have you heard of the rumor?"
"Can't miss it."
"Whoever playing this trick won't have me fooled anytime soon. We can, like, tell who the bad guy is?"
"Like the attitude, but you can never be sure."
"Don't worry about me joining the dark side anytime soon."
And it wasn't until The Day, the words from The Summer Before seemed true.
A/N: Ok, just enjoy I guess...it's almost midnight here...
Oh and do me a favour by reviewing! Even tired authors love reviews - something to remember for next time!
