"…It's na yar time…"

Words whispered into his ear as he felt cold, unforgiving ground make contact with his body. The words came from no one but the voice was unmistakable. Even now that voice in his ear brought a shiver down his spine and a small smile touched his paling lips.

Izuru felt nothing else. There was no pain. He couldn't move. There was no regrets. To give you're life protecting what you hold dear was the greatest honor that was given to him in his despair filled life. Was this what he felt in those moments? How foolish was those last thoughts. On that man who had left him for another man and left him once again for his best friend. How foolish he really was.

"…keep fightin', Izuru….ya can't give up now…"

Such sweet whispers almost made it seem he was right here. Ever sadden light blue hues blinked out a single tear. When they let the light in once more something shimmered above him. Everything else around him was going dark. The sweet whispers in his ear was growing sadder as the form started to take a shape. Darkness filled his vision and mind. It didn't take long for it to consume them leaving just the two bodies floating in an endless void.

The other form floating above turned into a silver mass. Fox features coming into view. Izuru couldn't trust his own eyes. Going crazy at a time like this. He would have rubbed his eyes if he could have. But he opted to settle for blinking out another tear thinking of the from coming into view. The darker his soundings got the clearer the body became. Until it came in planting all to familiar ice cold lips on his own. He was taste that grin. "…Taichou…" Was all he could utter.

"I'm sa proud a ya."

Not a moment was wasted trying to figure this out. It felt so real, too real. He didn't trust it but there was little choice. Izuru accepted his fate from the moment he raised his blade. Following another man into battle felt strange but squad three was his home. He raised his blade many times to keep the honor of his squad and the badge he wore on his arm. A blade he raised for and against the man before him now.

A silver light wrapped around him. He didn't realize he was cold until he felt the warmth he knew well. A warmth that both soothed him and demanded from him like it always had. Izuru did the only thing he ever did with such an embrace; Submit. He couldn't say another word. The blond accepted it all. Death and his captain.

"Forgive meh. It shouldn' be yar time. I shoulda' kept ya safe…"

The voice held a sadness Izuru near heard or honestly never thought possible. It seemed to come from all around them. He swore he could even feel the warmth that voice gave as it trailed over his neck. Izuru tried to voice his objections but the silver form pressed cold lips to him again. It felt like ice touching ice and it felt just like it always had. Casing the blond to stay silent and listen to every word.

"At least now I can end yar pain. Follow meh, Izuru. Come with meh…ta a place na one can stand in our way. Yar diyin' wish is meh~ I'm honored~"

Exact thoughts were taken right from his own mind. It had been what he wished for since the very first meeting. Fight and serve this man. It had become far more then he ever dreamed. When his world was ripped away from him he didn't believe it. It had to be a trick. He devoted himself to this man only to be cast away. Forgotten. Gin left behind a broken hearted Izuru twice. This time no one could take his captain away from him.

"Hai, Ichimaru-Taichou."
