Author's note:
This fanfic is really, REALLY short. I wrote it during my spare time in school. It's also one of my first fanfics of this kind (I normally write fics in script format). Please read and review, and try not to flame, okay? And oh yeah, YAOI WARNING! ...ok. =DDisclaimer
: I don't own these two bishies. I wish I did though. *sob* I'm not making any money off of this, except for selling copies of my video of what happens after the fic----err I didn't say anything! ^_~One Must Experience Love
Thunder crashed while lightning lit up the midnight skies. Rain poured down onto an ancient Chinese style palace. A fiery haired man could be seen running through the palace courtyard. He ran under a balcony, knocking on a door, which had a humorous sign on it saying "Chichiri's room, no da!". The man hesitantly knocked on the door and waited about half a minute. The door opened from the inside, showing a slightly older man with power blue hair and gravity defying bangs.
"Tasuki, no da? What are you doing here?" Chichiri asked.
Tasuki replied, stumbling on his words, "Uh, well, er...the goddamn thunder from this storm is keeping me awake and uh, I think it's not as loud over here...and so I was, er, wondering if I could, ya know, stay here...."
Chichiri thought for a moment and said, "I guess you could...now come in before you get even more soaked no da."
Tasuki entered the small but cozy room, closing the door behind him. He sat down and looked at Chichiri. "I've got to tell 'im somehow...even if he doesn't feel the same way...I can't keep these damn feelings inside of me..." Tasuki pondered to himself.
The ex-bandit thought back to when he had first met Chichiri. They had almost opposite personalities...but that was what drew them close. Tasuki didn't even know he was falling in love with the monk until recently. However...Tasuki was pretty sure that Chichiri did not feel the same way towards him...after all, he was just, well, him...
Chichiri sat down next to Tasuki. Tasuki looked up at Chichiri and inquired, "Chichiri...can I see what you look like without that mask on?" Chichiri nodded and nervously took off his mask. A long scar sealed his left eye shut. Unconsciously, Tasuki put his hand on Chichiri's face, lightly tracing the scar with his thumb.
"You look damn beautiful without that mask on, Chiri-chan..." Tasuki whispered.
"Tas...Tasuki no da...." Chichiri thought, "Why...why are you calling me Chiri-chan...?"
Tasuki took a deep breath. It was now or never, this was the perfect timing. He leaned forward and pressed his lips against Chichiri's. Chichiri's eyes were wide open with shock, and a deep red tint was on his cheeks. After about five seconds, Tasuki pulled away.
"Gomen ne, Chichiri....It's jus' that...I...I had to let ya know...I love you...." Tasuki spoke softly. Chichiri stared at him with a stunned look in his eyes.
"Tasuki...I---" Chichiri started before he was interrupted by Tasuki.
"I don't care if ya don't feel the same way...I just had to let ya know...I'm sorry....I'll just go now..." Tasuki said with a tone of sadness in his voice, stood up, and started walking towards the door.
Just as he was about to open the door, Chichiri grabbed him by the arm, turned him around, and kissed Tasuki passionately. Chichiri broke the kiss after almost half a minute and whispered to Tasuki...
"Aishiteru, Tasuki-chan....Aishiteru..."
