The Story Begins Here
"There is a world hidden from us, all around us yet invisible to our eyes"
-Bonnie (A Very Potter Musical Prologue)
November first was a cold, windy night. The street of Manhattan was empty and dark. The only noises heard through out the street were the stray animals moving around.
All of a sudden, a black crow flew out of a tree as he sensed someone's presence. There at the end of the street was a young man holding an infant. The man wore tattered clothes and his shoulder hung low, as if the world was on his shoulders. He watched the street carefully, making sure there was no danger around. He walked slowly to the orphanage in the middle of the street. It was well structured and stood out like a sore thumb.
He stood in front of the orphanage, pondering his decision. With hesitation, he bent down and put the child down on the first step. He awaited to see if she would awake and when she didn't, he sighed in relief. He placed the letter down next to her and looked at the child for one last time. A tear fell down his face. He hoped he was making the right decision.
He began to walk away, occasionally looking around. When he reached the near end of the street, he took out a thin stick and waved it around.
He took one last glance at the baby he had just abandoned and felt a pang of regret and remorse. He truly hoped that the infant would have a better future here then she would ever have with him.
"I'm sorry." He said sadly before disappearing into thin air. He did not know the effect of what he had just done. On the steps laid, Alexandria Potter, the now orphaned child. She would awake in a strange place, her startling sea green eyes looking around curiously.
Here would begin the story of the girl who lived and one of the greatest demigods who ever lived.
