Goodnight Dance

It was an awful night; it felt like it was going to flood if it poured any longer. Flashes of lightning brightened up my dark gloomy room. I was sitting at the end of my bed looking at the branches of the tree swaying, making the shadows look like scary monsters. The Phantomhive house hold was sound asleep. But somehow I just had the urge to stay awake. My stomach began to feel strange like, the feeling of misery . I felt it all through my body. I wanted to cry but no tears would come out. I felt like the rain was somehow comforting me. I walked up to the window and put my hand gently on the glass. The glass was cold; it felt like my emotions right now. I put my head up against the glass, finally my eyes began to water but even still the tears aren't running down my face. The strange thing is I'm not upset about what happened to my family. I feel bad from when I told Sebastian I didn't need him. The pain began to get worse. I was holding my stomach and gasping for air. I punched the window in need of fresh air. My breathing began to increase. Although, my temperature did decrease. I began to shiver, my curtains, covered in glass, were blowing back and forth from the wind. The rain drops were flying into my room leaving wet patches on the floor. I walked over to my bed and sat there, my head was leaning against my knees. My arms were wrapped around my legs. I began to sob quietly. The thunder was getting louder each time. I heard a slight knock at the door. "Go Away" I demanded, tucking my head down further past my knees, hoping to get warmer. The door opened and dim light came from the door way. I lifted my head. "I said G-", I stopped. "Master your awake, Is everything ok?" Sebastian asked. "Everything is fine can't you tell...?" I sarcastically said, turning away from him. "You've made quite a mess My Lord, not to worry I will clean it up" He said, with a faint smile on his face. He went over to the curtain and picked each piece of glass up one by one. Moulding them into two equal icicle shapes. He then grabbed the curtains so they shut, then threw them into to curtains stabbing into the walls. Holding both of them in place. He turned and smiled at me. "Master you look a bit upset." "Come here" He said holding his hand out. "Nonsense, it is the rain it blew into my face" I said, with a slight blush. "I know what will make you feel better" He said grabbing a cassette tape from under the bed. "where on earth did you get that from?" I confronted. "I left it here for special occasions Master" He grabbed an old cassette player and put the tape in. "Come here" He said, grabbing onto my hand, slowly pulling me up. The music started playing. "What is it?" "Lionel Richie- Say you say me" He said pulling me closer. "Great is this a slow dance, Sebastian you know I can't dance" I said, rolling my eyes, trying to lose grip of his hands. "Now, now my Lord I can teach you, just follow my steps" He said, guiding my feet with his. As the music progressed I began to feel happy. Like this is what I needed. "Now what was troubling you" He said staring into my eyes, smiling. I looked away my cheeks were bright red. "Are you embarrassed Master?" He asked, grabbing me tight. "Shut up" I say, Leaning forward falling into his arms. "Master..." He said in a shocked tone. He put his hands on my back and held me tight. "Are you feeling alright, master?" A faint smile came upon my face. "Never felt better".
