Running.
Always running.
In the middle of a snowy forest.
I didn't know who was chasing me anymore.
Couldn't remember why I was scared of that threat finding me.
"Oh don't run away!" A cold sickly laugh followed that.
I trip and break my ankle as a man walks up to me a black raven on his shoulder. I can only see it's red eyes in the night without a moon or stars to give me light.
I scream and try to crawl away. When I look up I see my scarf tied to a branch and Gray hung on the other end.
"Please stop this!" I scream tears flooding down my face. The man gives a sadistic smile and pulls out a dagger with a dead dragon as the hilt.
He comes closer to me and he plunges the knife into me.
I bolt out of bed screaming a cold sweat running down my face. Flames counting my bed I quickly put them out.
I don't know where the dreams come from but I need to make sure Gray is OK.
I grab pants and my scarf and run out my room. I see Happy sleeping and pat his head before I run to the ice mages house.
It was past midnight and there was no moon just like my dream, but stars so I know it's not the same.
I come to his building and scale the wall to the fourth floor window that was open knowing it was Gray's since it was the middle of winter and he was the only person I have heard of who kept his window open in the middle of winter.
I look into the room and spot a bed in the corner of the room. A sizable lump under the blankets. I swiftly move to the bed and under the covers.
I snuggle with the raven haired beauty. I feel him wake up and shove his nose into my pink hair.
"Nightmares?" He whispers into my hair as he wraps his arms around me I do the same to him.
"Yeah. You died this time hung by my scarf." I whimper into his chest.
"It's OK that man will never hurt you again. He can't hurt me or you ever again." He said hugging me tighter.
"Gray?" I ask looking up into his dark eyes.
"Yes?"
"Can I stay the night?"
"Of course now go to sleep. Erza will kill us if we are late again." He replied and we fall asleep no nightmares for the rest of the night.
