A/N: I've been reading a lot of these lately, so here is my own version…it's a little different, because its not just about one person, but two. Let me know what you think! Number three is dedicated to unorthodox yo-yo. I apologize in advance for number seven, it is incredibly Ron/Hermione, but what can I say? I love them too much.
Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter or Ginny Weasley.
1. Harry is allowed to call Ginny 'Gin'. Should anyone else use this nickname, that party will find themselves on the receiving end of a Bat-Bogey Hex. Should Harry use this nickname, he will find himself on the receiving end of something entirely different…
2. Most people seem to be under the impression that Harry chose all of his children's names. This isn't true. Lily Nymphadora Molly Potter was a name Ginny chose, after three of the strongest women she'd ever known.
3. Almost everyone seems to think that Ginny lost her virginity when she spent the night at Harry's one New Year's Eve. This is completely and totally untrue. They waited until they were married, and it was completely worth it.
4. Harry was sure that on his wedding day, Ginny was the most beautiful she'd ever been. He believed this firmly until he saw her sitting in a St. Mungo's bed covered in sweat, holding their newborn son. It was then that she, in his opinion, redefined beauty.
5. Ginny's crush on Harry began when she was six years old. She'd heard the stories about him before then, but on one chilly day in March, while she, Mum, Ron, Fred, and George were eating ice cream at a muggle shop, she saw him in person for the first time. Unfortunately Mrs. Weasley had been in the restroom, so it took all three of her brothers to keep her from running up to him and giving him a large hug.
6. Ginny had to wait for that hug from Harry until she was almost twelve. He gave her one at the end of her first year, mostly because he'd saved her life a few weeks prior. She blushed very deeply when this happened, and decided not to mention that she'd been wanting that to happen for nearly six years.
7. When they were in fifth and fourth years respectively, Harry and Ginny had a conversation in the common room one night about Ron and Hermione. They ended up placing bets on when the couple would wed. Harry, taking into account that his friends were too thick to realize they even liked each other, guessed that it would be in 2010, about seventeen years after school. Ginny, being a true romantic, guessed 2000. She won. Ron and Hermione wed in 1999.
8. Ginny had always cursed her bright red hair, until the first night she spent walking the Hogwarts grounds with Harry. "I love your hair. It's like fire, it's like you." Ever since then, her hair has been a favorite feature for both of them.
9. Looking back, Harry first began to have feelings for Ginny in his fifth year. Over Christmas break, she'd yelled at him for trying to shut everyone out. He admired her because she was the only one who dared to question his attitude. As he entered sixth year, this feeling only intensified.
10. Many people made the comment that Harry and Ginny reminded them of Harry's parents. "Potter men love their redheads," Harry would reply, drawing Ginny close to him and kissing her cheek. The sun would shine a little brighter then, for James and Lily were smiling from heaven.
A/N: Aaaah, that was really weird. Let me know what you thought. Thanks.
