Falling

I see her standing there

As wind brushes along her long blonde hair

The moonlit night gleams off of her perfect face

As my newly found heart begins to race

She knows not that I stand here in the great heavens

Wings tied to all of my brethren

I watch her day by suffering day

As her sky blue eyes watch the sea at play

That's when I realize that she is all that I want

So this is what it feels like, Gods harsh taunt

I've been falling for her body's commands

But only by betraying my Gods demands

That's when I begin to fall

Plummeting down to earth like rainfall

My wings try to open and fly

Instead each feather begins to flyby

I have been rejected by the Kingdom of Heaven

No inch of my soul will be left unbroken

He will not say "fear not my son" I have turned from him

And I am to live eternally here, to never hear again the angels soft hymn

For she has pulled my godly given soul down to this forbidden land

My feet now come to touch the sand

I leave no foot prints from where I once stood

I don't think I would change this decision if I could

She hears me coming, and turns to look behind

I see my reflection in her stern eyes, refined

Her soft pink lips turn up into a smile

Pure beauty radiating off her, she is worth all the whyle

She stretches her hand out to me, beckoning

I accept her hand, warmth tingles everywhere, and my legs start buckling

There is no one else but me and her, and forever I will be loyal

For I am her Fallen Angel
