This is Written for my poor sick friend, Ms.K... I hope you feel better soon.
Poor Sokka
A relentless storm was harshly blowing on the small Southern Water Tribe Village. Suki was making dinner for her family, worrying about when Sokka would be coming home. She had never seen a storm so horrible as this her entire time living at the South Pole. Hakoda, obliviously to his mother's anxiety, was chattering to himself. She had lost count on how many times she had pooped her head out the door to see if her husband was coming home yet.
When she had compleated cooking dinner, Sokka still not home yet, she began to panic. She tried sewing, cleaning, sorting laundry. She peeked out the door one more time and saw a blue hunched figure slowly making it's way closer to her igloo. She threw on a blanket and ran to the figure, It was Sokka. She wrapped him with the blanket and helped him into their home. "Are you all right? What took so long? I was so scared!" She rambled as she pulled the thick wooden door to their igloo.
"I... The storm... It got worse then we thought it would." He told her with a horse voice then he began to cough so hard he doubled over in pain.
Suki began to help him gert his cold wet clothes off and get dry ones for him. He was so week that she was actually doing most of the work, dry and fully clother, he still shivered as oif he were freezing. "Oh, Sweetheart, You are burning up!" She said after kissing his forehead. Let me make you some tea, and see if we have any medicine."
"No... no frogs please!" Sokka said as his wife rummaged around in her kitched for the tea blend.
"Frogs? Oh Sweetie pie, you must be bad, you're delerious." Sukkie hugged her husband tightly.
"No... No frogs... Aang... My throatal flap!" Sokka rambled.
"Come here, Sweetheart, let me help you into bed. I'll take care of you." She said helping him stand up.
"No frogs." He mumbled again.
"Ok Sweetheart, I promise no frogs." Suki comforted him.
"Ok. Thank you!" He said with relief as she helped him into their bed.
Once Sokka was all settled in bed Suki brought in a tray with a bowl of stewed sea prunes, his favorite comfort food, Gran Gran had taught her to make.
"Ya know sumpthin', I think your really pretty." She sounded like he had been drinking cactus juice.
Suki smiled as a giggle slipped out. "Thank you, Sokka."
"You... you know my name? Wow such a purddy girl knows my name." He was making less and less sence, but Suki couldn't help but want to play along for a few minutes.
"Yes, I know your name." She smiled holding in her giggles.
"When did I meet you? I think I would remember meeting such a beautiful woman. Would you like to go do an activity with me sometime?" He asked her, giving her his most handsome grin he could manage.
"We do activities all the time." She told him.
"No... We couldn't, you're too pretty for me." He was trying to flirt and Suki thought it was adorable.
"You are married, Sokka, you have a son and all." She told him.
"I'm... I'M... I'M MARRIED! Who did I marry?" Sokka was shocked at this news. "Don't tell her I think you're beautiful!" He put his finger to his lips in a shushing gesture.
"You married me stupid!" She was laughing out loud now, she leaned over and kissed his forehead again. "And I love you... and so does your son."
"Wow... I'm the luckiest guy in the world! I'm married to you AND I have a son!" He practically yelled in excitement.
"And another on the way!" Suki told him.
"WOW" He said then passed out.
"Oh, my Sweetheart! I will take care of you until you are all better. I love you so much, my silly warrior!"
