Breeze
It was a warm day as the sun was high in the brilliant blue sky. A small grey haired boy took the opportunity to bask in the light, perhaps to color his pale skin. Nitori hummed as he began walking to a nearby tree, he sat down at the base among scattered emerald leaves and began reading.
The young male had forgotten how long it had been since he had had time to himself to just relax. He had always been tagging along with his Senpai or studying, and he was usually busy, so he put off time for himself. Today was different though. Rin was out on a run. There were no classes that day. And it was such a beautiful day. Warm with a gentle breeze as the tree provided shade. It was all too easy to drift off into a peaceful nap on a day outdoors such as this. So he did.
Light steps were heard on the pavement as a rather content Rin was on his way to his dorm. That was until he caught a glance of shining silver. His brain automatically envisioning his roommate, as he could recognize him from a mile away. Not like that was a skill he needed considering the boy was always near him. He stepped closer to the small body leaning against the large tree in front of him; his eyes closed and soft breath being drawn out. Rin gulped audibly as his gaze was fixed on Nitori. He was so peaceful and….cute. The redhead's eyes widened at his own mind, had he really just thought that Nitori was cute? Well… to his defense the boy was kind of cute. The way he looked so innocent as the wind ruffled strands of silver hair. The way those wide blue eyes of his lit with adoration when they spoke together. He couldn't deny that those things were pretty freaking cute.
It had been a good 3 minutes that Rin had been staring. He didn't mean to stay, only to perhaps wake the boy up and tell him that he would be sun burnt if he stayed out much longer. And now here he was. Staring. The taller teen's cheeks tinting pink as the small boy on the ground smiled and sighed contently while he slept. "Heehee…Rin Senpaaai~" a soft voice sounded, capturing the red head's attention. The boy's hands clutched to the book in his lap as the pages crunched together. Is he awake? Rin silently wondered, as he crouched to better examine Nitori's level of consciousness.
Suddenly, he stopped in his tracks as he took in the delicate face mere inches from his own. He hadn't realized he had been getting that close, not like it bothered him in the least though. "Hey, Nitori? You awake?" He hurriedly whispered. Rin bit his lip lightly. Damn this was bad. If he just leaned in a little bit…This was really bad. He had no clue what was compelling him to get closer to the sleeping male, but he did. He could hear Nitori's short breathes and the way his face shone when the sun hit it, a dark pink already lying across his cheeks and nose. He knew the boy would get burnt.
He hoped what he was about to do wouldn't hurt Nitori because of his tinged face. He slowly closed his eyes as he gently closed the distance between them. Their lips only brushed at first, as Rin pushed softly nearer to the small male. The shark pressed his mouth into Nitori's soft lips and sighed as a tension he didn't know was in him was seemingly released.
Rin's hands went to press on the tree trapping Nitori between them. He pressed his lips more urgently as a thorough redness covered his cheeks. He was more than a bit shocked as he opened his eyes to find himself gazing into wide blue ones. Shit. He was at a loss for words as he withdrew his lips, hands still on either side of the now burning underclassman. Rin quickly sprung up and turned his head to the side, taking extreme interest in the brick wall in that direction, as he cleared his throat willing the obvious shade of his face to dissipate. "Bye." The flustered older male choked out before he began his quick stumbling journey in search for his room.
The grey haired boy's fingers lifted to lightly brush his lips, his mind replaying the events that had unfolded. He couldn't help the idiotic grin that spread onto his face as much as he couldn't help loving Rin. Nitori giggled as he teetered his way onto his feet, numb from sitting for so long. He was filled with all kinds of energy. Excitement, nervousness, happiness, and longing. He was going to tell him about his feelings. Rin had to feel something for him right? He kissed him! That couldn't have meant nothing to rin. Well he was going to find out. He took a deep breath of the fresh air on the still beautiful day as he turned to look for a certain redhead.
