Sydney And Adrian One Shots

chapter 1, caved in

We were touring a cave in Greece, me and Adrian hand in hand. The cave was spectacular, the crystals and gems sparkled from the cave walls like they were on fire and the echo of drops of water dripping from the ceiling gave a calming sense to the cave.

Me and Adrian hung back from the others more entranced in the caves beauty, suddenly there was a loud rumble and and I heard a few cries from the people in front, then a huge stalactite fell to the ground in front of us. We took a step back, then another rumble and dust came from the ceiling, then before I knew it the ceiling in front of us collapsed leaving us departed from the group. I screamed and we both fell to the floor. Rocks covered my body and led there and groaned, "Sydney are you okay?" I heard from the other wall,

"ones I get all these rocks of me yer." I said, I heard a scrambling but couldn't see anything because there was no light though I trusted Adrian with his superior eyesight, he got to me and started pushing rocks off me. I coughed, then again there was another rumble but this time nothing came down, I scrambled up to lean against Adrian. He helped me up and I said a simple light spell, the hole cave lit up. We got up and looked for any other people who could of gotten hurt. There was no one only us. Suddenly there was a growl from the back of the cave. Adrian jumped in front of me protectively and I lit a fire ball with my hands, "who's there?" I asked nervously.

"someone who wants to have you for dinner." the voice said. A figure came out of the shadows, his chalky complexion and red ringed eyes told me he was strigoi and his tall build told me I was looking at a former moroi, I aimed the fire ball at him and threw I got him first time but that just tipped of his companion that I was a witch so Adrian summoned his spirit magic and used it against him, but he missed, that's when I remembered I had a acid in my bag and as the strigoi was thrown of by Adrians hit I gave it to him. Adrian threw the acid and it melted the strigoi into a puddle on the floor. There were no more and I sighed In relief, we just needed to wait for them to get us out.
