"You're nothing but a degenerate half breed," the she elf spat.
At that moment Avallac'h appeared. He moved in a blur and time stopped when his arms were grasping the she elf's neck. "How dare you," Avallac'h said. The she elf's legs were lifted from the ground.
"Avallac'h, stop!" Ciri said.
He let go. The she elf gasped for air.
"You're lucky she's here or I'd kill you. Get out," Avallac'h said coldly. He opened a portal and the she elf hurriedly entered it, not wishing to face Avallac'h's wrath any further.
"Is that a portal to Tir nĂ¡ Lia?" Ciri asked.
"Perhaps," Avallac'h said simply.
"How'd you get here? Weren't you supposed to be back at the ship?" Yennefer asked.
"Yes. You'll find me at the ship, not knowing what happened here. I expect you to wreck my lab. Go ahead, Ciri. I deserve it," Avallac'h said.
"How'd you...," Ciri asked.
Just then another Ciri stepped in. "Surprise," she said. "I'm the lady of time and space so I can go back to the past if I want to."
Present Ciri said, "So you're me and you're from the future?"
"That's right," future Ciri said, smiling.
"I've already banished her but you wanted to go back to this particular moment to see me banish her personally," Avallac'h said. He kissed future Ciri. "You're scary."
"Says you. I'm not the one who sent her through a random portal to who knows where," future Ciri said. "Anyway, our work here is done. We're off."
Future Ciri hugged Yennefer. "I'm sorry, Mother. I should've known you weren't going to manipulate me to join the Lodge of Sorceresses," Ciri said. To the present Ciri, she said, "Oh and don't be afraid to tell Avallac'h how you really feel about him. He loves you too."
Finally, she hugged Geralt. "Trust Avallac'h and try not to kill him."
...
"We should go to the past and meet Lara," Ciri said.
"That's a terrible idea," Avallac'h said. "I don't want to change anything. I love you and I'm afraid we might not end up together if you try to change the past."
Ciri sighed. Avallac'h looked so worried she had to kiss him. "You're right. It is a terrible idea. I love you too." She smiled.
