Alright, let me start off with saying this is my first story on this website. Apart from that, this is a story based on two of my OCs in the Rick and Morty universe. The main character Zia, wasn't meant to embody Rick's personality, but I'm too lazy to change it. There is also swearing in this story, so YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. This also doesn't follow the show Rick and Morty, or their timeline, just certain characters.

If you do read this story, I would like your feedback. Helps me improve my writing, and improves the reading experience. Longer chapters in the future.

It was all a regular afternoon in the suburban neighborhood. No explosions coming from the Smith's house, no portals or flying spaceships. Yet. Then suddenly, a moving truck caught the attention of the 14-year old boy sitting in the dining room.

"Morty, what are you looking at," asks the boys older sister. "Someone is moving into the neighborhood. I think we should go greet them." Summer decides to ignore Morty's comment, and walk away with her phone in her hands, texting absentmindedly. Morty's staring catches his mother's attention.

"Morty, what exactly are you doing?" Morty responds, "Someone just moved in to the house in front of us. Can we go greet them?" "Well, I don't see why not. We can invite them over for dinner. JERRY! SUMMER! We are meeting the neighbors, get ready," she said. "Dad, do you want to-," she was cut off by Rick, "Nope. If I wanted to waste my time, I would just spend an afternoon with Jerry."

Across the street, you can see a young man unload the boxes outside the trunk. A female, covered from the family living across the street by the moving truck was talking to him. "Well, it isn't my fault we are here. If it weren't for you burning down my house, we would still be enjoying watching television and drinking lemonade in our previous dimension. But no, he has to ruin everything. Can't get better than this." She takes out her flask, and starts drinking. The man responds, "Great. Ranting won't help me unload the truck. Will you stop drinking? That will be the death of you." "I'll stop when I die," she responded.

She started heading towards the garage. As she is walking there she starts, "I'm going to set up my lab. I'll be in the garage." "But who will help me unload the boxes…." She throws a green Meeseek's box at him, and says, "Have them help you."
