Mistoffelees sighed as he walked into the laundry place.

His owner loved going there, and, personally, he did too.

He loved going there because, every Thursday, he saw his crush.

She was gorgeous, her calico fur always neat, her head fur always in place.

She didn't even need to try; she'd stolen his heart.

As he walked in, his eyes wandered to her, and he nervously fidgeted beside his human.

He began to sing to himself, as quietly as possible.

Laundry day
See you there
Underthings
Tumbling

Want to say
Love your hair
Here I go!

Misto tried to speak to her, but it came out as a mumble.

I'm Mumbling!

With my freeze ray
I will stop the world

Misto seriously wanted to know this queen, this shy, beautiful queen.

With my freeze ray
I will find the time to
Find the words to

Tell you how
How you make
Make me feel

Misto thought for a second before asking himself,

"What's the phrase?"

Like a fool?
Kind of sick?
Special needs?

Misto shrugged it off, forgetting the question.

Anyways

With my freezeray
I will stop the pain
It's not a death ray or an icebeam
That's all Johnny Snow

I just think you need time to know
That I'm the guy to make it real
The feelings you don't dare to feel
I'll bend the world to our will
And we'll make time stand still

That's the plan
Rule the world
You and me
Anyday

"Love your hair," he sang, aloud.

"What,' the sweet calico asked, politely.

"No I . . I, uh . . . love the . . . air," Misto said, nervously laughing.

The sweet calico suddenly looked put down, and looked away.

Anyway, she sang, her voice ringing out, even if she was trying to be quiet.

One day, Misto finaly got up his courage.

"Love your fur," he said, smiling shyly.

The calico turned around, and looked at him, blushing slightly.

"Thanks," she said, shuffeling her feet nervously.

At the same time, they uttered their names.

"Misto!"

"Jemima!"

Jemima, Misto thought, and smiled.

"So," Misto asked, "Jemima.......Wanna...you know.....get something to....eat?"

He'd squeeked the last part, he was so nervous.

Jemima's blush rededed.

'Actually," she said, "I was....kinda..going to ask you...the same thing."

Misto's eyes lite up with excitement.

"So," he asked, "It's a yes?"

Jemima nodded.

Suddenly, Jemima's owner called her by her human-pet name.

"Titania! Come on!" she called.

Jemima smiled shyly, and waved at Misto.

Misto looked at her, and called out, "Meet me here tomorrow night!"

After he watched Jemima leave, he jumped up with joy, punching the air.

"Yes!" he screamed, finally getting his wish.
