A Moot Point
Oh some people have nerve. That snooty little demon girl with her sadistic nonstop announcing has a lot nerve. Her weekend was shot simply because Kurama lacked a silver tail and foxy ears? Koto didn't deserve a weekend the young human decided from her perch high in the stands.
Shizuru sat quietly between Keiko and Yukina as she watched her fantasy get ripped up and tossed in the wind. Her weekend was shot as she watched the last member of the team, the bad guy's team, walk out to the ring.
Sakyo.
That truly was a disappointment. Though they'd only run into each other a few times, Shizuru had hoped something could come out of their time spent together. At least a dinner or even a coffee would be appreciated. Well, sharing a smoke just wasn't as magical as it used to be it would seem. Speaking of which, she could go for a smoke now. The last member of her brother's team had yet to show and they might be disqualified without even getting a chance to save the world. Her fingers itched to strum irritably against her arm as she desired the nicotine, but she was much to cool and collected for such nervous habits. She needed a fix for the gloomy new information that came with the fact Sakyo really was nothing more than a whim, though.
And even though he wouldn't be there to offer her a lite, Shizuru was confident that she would survive.
AN: I know it's short, but I didn't feel it should be long. Shizuru in my mind wouldn't be one to chew on this too long considering they only had two run ins. I didn't send this to my beta so I don't expect it to be very perfect. If you read it I thank you, and I would be very honored if you left a review!
