AN: Small little drabble, takes place after the war. A small snippet to show that even though there were deaths and sadness, happiness can be found after the war as well, and shows that no matter what, these four are best friends till the end!

Disclaimer: I don't own it, just so you know.

The thought occurred to her that she should be scared, as if it was a reflex now, but then she remembered that Harry had defeated Voldemort two days ago, and that all was quiet. The three of them, Ron, Harry, and Hermione, made it to Shell Cottage. The entire Weasley clan was there, and Hermione smiled brightly at the sight of Ginny, slightly shaken, but otherwise unharmed.

The younger girl raced into her arms and clung to her tightly, whispering in her ear that she was so happy that she was safe. There were still stray Death Eaters on the lose, after all, and the trio had traveled back from Hogwarts a day after everyone else. Harry hadn't quite been ready to leave yet, because even if it was in ruins, it was still his home.

"Why don't you all go into the other bedroom? There's two beds set up in there for you" Bill said, smiling at them hesitantly. Harry grabbed Ron's hand and led him into the bedroom, Hermione and Ginny following close behind.

Hermione closed the door and let out a loud sigh.

"Things feel odd without Fred there with George" Ron spoke, and Ginny blinked at him for a minute, before nodding her head. "We know" Hermione whispered, shaking her head.

She sat down next to Ginny and laid her head on the younger girl's shoulder, smiling softy as the redhead ran her hands through her hair and kissed her forehead.

Hermione looked over at the boys and saw to her amazement, that they were both smiling for what seemed like the first time in a long while.

"What are you two so bloody happy about?" Ginny said, her eyebrows shooting up.

"You two. You're so perfect together. It's like you've belonged that way this entire time and all of us were too wrapped up in Voldemort and Death Eaters and war to see it" Harry said, his green eyes shining.

"The rest of us saw it, Harry, you just ignored it" Ron said quietly, a small grin on his face.

It only took a moment, but suddenly Harry had a pillow in his hand and he swung, hitting Ron hard in the face. His boyfriend looked at him, slightly shocked, before chuckling and shaking his head.

"I swear, Potter. You're going to kill me one of these days" he muttered, rubbing at his sore nose.

Hermione snorted at his word choice.

All remained quiet for a few moments, until Harry grinned.

"This is nice" he whispered.

Ginny looked at him curiously.

"I can't honestly remember the last time everything, including Voldemort's bloody voice inside my head, was completely silent. I can't remember the last time I wasn't worried that someone I love was going to be murdered because of me. Sure, there's the Death Eaters still left over, but we can handle them. We're finally safe" Harry said, in what seemed to be all one deep breath.

Everyone else remained silent after that, enjoying the silence that came with the end of war, and even though Fred, Remus, and Tonks, along with so many others, had perished during what had been the hardest time for any of them, so many more had survived, and so much good had occurred.

Voldemort was dead, Harry had a beautiful godson named Teddy, and the wizarding world could once again be at peace.

Hermione heard a soft snore and looked up at Ginny, who had fallen asleep sitting up. Harry and Ron had fallen backwards onto the bed and were both asleep as well.

She smiled and leaned backwards onto the bed, bringing Ginny with her and cuddling closer.

Things were going to be alright, she could feel it.
