It's All The Same In The End

Disclaimer: Kishimoto Masashi's. (Who, by the way, just wrote an EPIC chapter that I will read over and over again because it PLEASES ME TO SO.)
Pairings: Meh, pretty much everything. (NaruSasu, NaruSaku, SasuNaru, SasuSaku)
Summary: Naruto's always seen things a little differently.

Naruto loves Sakura. Sakura loves Sasuke. Sasuke loves Naruto. Even to a blind man, it's a love triangle. But Naruto's always seen things a little differently. Because, see, triangles can go both ways.

Naruto hates Sasuke. Sasuke hates Sakura. Sakura hates Naruto. It's not love, it's hate, it's always been hate. It's not a triangle, it's a circle, never ending, never beginning.

But things change. Orbits switch around. Stars never stay in the same place.

Sakura loves Sasuke, but maybe Naruto's okay, too. Sasuke loves Naruto, but that annoying pink fangirl is maybe starting to grow up a little. Naruto loves Sakura, but where would he be without his greatest rival?

Clouds make shapes, changing, always changing.

Sakura's crying, because Sasuke's gone now, because maybe Naruto really is the only one she can count on. Naruto's confused, because he can finally maybe have a chance with Sakura, but Sasuke's gone and he doesn't understand why that hurts so much. Sasuke's gone, because he can't take looking at the blond every day knowing he can never have him, and because maybe Sakura's childish obsession wasn't so childish after all.

The sun rises, but moves constantly, never content to stay at one point in the sky.

Sakura hates Sasuke, the one who broke her down. Sasuke hates Naruto, the talentless genius who could never understand. Naruto hates Sakura, the young woman whose intelligence and maturity keeps getting in the way of his dreams.

Triangles can go both ways.

Sakura loves Naruto, loves his honesty and earnestness, something Sasuke never had. Sasuke loves Sakura, loves the fear in her eyes and the terrible strength in her fists as he tears a chirping hand through her bosom. Naruto loves Sasuke, loves the idea of him, is obsessed with the way things used to be.

It's not a love triangle. It's a long, nearly endless circle of destruction that won't stop until it's destroyed them all.
