Warning: If you have not read past chapter 77, then please do not read my poem. There are some major spoilers! If you do not want it spoiled, then do not read this! I have warned you, do not blame me if you read this and it was spoiled for you.
A/N: Hello all! It's been awhile since I have written a poem, huh? I don't normally write poems, so I must apologize for how short and crappy it is. This is a NANApoem. It was going to be a story, but that wasn't working out, so I transformed it into a poem, so I hope you enjoy it! I really have nothing to say, which is odd.
Disclaimer: I do not NANA. Yazawa-san owns it. If I owned it, Ren would be alive, Hachi and Nobu would be together and Takumi would be dead. I hate Takumi.
The Day My Life Stood Still
"Ren is dead" echoed through my mind
That couldn't be true, I must be losing my mind.
He was my love, my life.
I was his wife.
I loved him more than anything,
He was my everything.
It was my birthday,
When I heard.
His car had crashed,
Where we used to live.
This can't be happening to me,
What about the promise we made?
"Ren is dead" echoed through my mind,
That was the day my life stood still.
A/N: Well, what did you think? I was trying to capture what Nana felt the night she found out Ren died. I don't think I did a very good job of it... We don't know much about after Yasu told her about Ren, so I had to make up some things. I am guessing he crashed his car into the warehouse Ren and Nana lived, and I am not sure Yasu told her, so I just assumed he told her. Anyways, I hope you liked my poem. Please let me know what you think. Remember, constructive criticism, but please, no flames.
